Through the night, Jungwoo half-woke up when Lucas finally entered the bedroom and cuddled with the older. Feeling apologetic for leaving him alone for so long, he spooned and fell asleep, chin on Jungwoo's shoulder.
Later that morning, Jungwoo was awoken by the sound of the TV in the other room. Without opening his eyes, he felt around for Lucas, placing a lazy kiss on his lips. He got out of bed and went into the living room, curious as to what was playing.
"Last night, a twenty-one year old man named Jung Yoon-oh Jaehyun was reported missing. He was last seen in the early hours of yesterday morning at a convenience store just off of Namdaemun market. Since, no one has received any form of contact with Mr. Jung. We humbly ask for any information or evidence that you may stumble upon to be reported to the police. Please be cautious, as this case may prove to be a kidnapping manifestion."
Taeyong was on the couch, watching the news intently.
"He'll be alright. He's Jung Jaehyun, remember?" He said, patting his back.
"Yeah...Jung Jaehyun..."
"Just don't worry about it too much, okay?"
He nodded but still refused to turn off the TV. Jungwoo sat on the couch and scrolled through his social media, finding his way to Snapchat, where Renjun had messaged him.

Jungwoo sighed, looking over to the male next to him. At that moment, he watched as the door to their bedroom slowly opened, revealing a cute and sleepy Lucas. He smiled upon seeing him.
"What's up?" Taeyong sniffled as Jungwoo explained the news report to Lucas, who didn't seem surprised. "I doubt he was kidnapped. He's a pretty buff guy."
"No, he's just a soft sweetheart and wouldn't hurt a fly... you guys wouldn't know..."
He continued to silently sob while Jungwoo internally suffered due to his unbearable cold. He got up and took some medicine, sitting down next to Lucas.
"Do you think we should give him anxiety meds or something?"
Lucas shrugged. "Let's not drug our friend. Ask him first."
Jungwoo leaned forward, signaling to Taeyong. "Hey... do you want to take anything to calm your nerves?"
Taeyong wiped his little tears, slightly nodding. Jungwoo got up, handing his friend a few pills. He was now glad to know that Taeyong would be calming down. It would be even better if he tried to get some sleep.
"Alright well," Lucas said, standing up, "I'm gonna go shower."
"I'll come with you," Jungwoo said, following him into the bathroom.
As they showered, the younger seemed to notice that his lover was stressed. He spaced out often as they were in the bathroom.
"Snoopy, can you hand me the shampoo?"
There was no response. Lucas sighed and clapped his hands in front of his face, scaring Jungwoo.
"O-oh yeah...sorry."
He gave the bottle to Lucas, who washed his hair for him.
"Why are you acting weird? Are you still feeling alright?"
"Yeah...I just can't stop thinking about Jaehyun. It's weird, right?"
"I think so too."
Once they finished washing, they got out of the shower, quickly drying off and clothing themselves. Jungwoo sat on their bed, Lucas soon joining him.
"I shouldn't be needing to tell you this, but don't worry too much. You're strong. If it comes down to it, I know we can find him." He slowly took Jungwoo's hand in his own, intertwining their fingers.
He nodded and smiled slightly at his lover. "You'll do it with me, right? You won't leave?"
Lucas chuckled. "Of course. Why would I want to leave you anyway? You're too cute!"
"I'm glad you think so."
They walked out, unexpectedly finding Renjun in their living room. He wasn't doing much, just sitting in his chair. But he looked tired.
"Woah Junnie...you look dead." Jungwoo laughed.
"I feel dead."
"We have a new update on the missing persons case! Another individual, an adult male, around 62 kg and 5'10", also was reported missing. Although there are only two reports and not much evidence, please be aware that there is a potential for this to be an upcoming chain of events, whether it be kidnappings, missing persons, or murders. We ask that you please be very cautious in your neighborhoods to protect yourself and the community."
The three immediately snapped their heads towards Taeyong, who was already pouting and beginning to tear up. Jungwoo rushed over to him, hugging his shoulders.
"Hey, it'll be alright. I already told him that we'll find him. He might've gone to do something important."
"Like what?"
Crap.
He really must not know.
Jungwoo knew exactly what he planned to do to Jaehyun once they find him: excoriate him for not being honest with Taeyong. If Jaehyun is still an active assassin, he should've been the first one to know for his own safety. To him, it was ridiculous.
He shook off the question and instead continued calming Taeyong down. Eventually, he fell asleep, so Jungwoo moved back with Lucas.
Lucas pet his head and wrapped his arm around the older's waist. When all was quiet, he suddenly whispered in Jungwoo's ear, "Hey, I know there's a lot going on right now...but I really want to spend some time with you."
"You are right now?"
"I mean the two of us alone."
"Just us?"
"Just us, baby."
Jungwoo blushed and slightly turned his head away. "When?"
"Around noon. We should go shopping together."
"Oh, okay."
They resumed their cuddling, Lucas continuing to stroke Jungwoo's hair as it was very soft. Renjun had additionally fell fast asleep in his chair, leaving the two in complete silence.
