Lucas and Jungwoo left the house together, taking Taeyong's car to the main part of the city. They carefully parallel parked and began walking around, browsing. Jungwoo clung to his lover's arm the entire time, earning the couple some judgmental stares from strangers. But honestly, they could care less at this point.

Lucas pointed out a store that they decided on going into. He picked out some clothes for Jungwoo, who went into the changing room to try them on. He first came out with tight jeans and an adorably oversized sweater, one that came below his collarbones.

"Is this okay?" Jungwoo asked shyly.

The younger stared at him in awe before calling over the retail worker, paying for the outfit on the spot. It was easy to say that Jungwoo was surprised, but he found it cute anyways.

Because it was still pretty cold outside, Lucas heaved Jungwoo's jacket onto him to keep him warm. Realizing it was not enough, he pulled him closer to his tepid body as they walked out of the store. Jungwoo smiled.

While strolling, he noticed Lucas often looking down at him. But whenever the older looked up, he would look away. They sat down on a bench by the fountain as Jungwoo, once again, caught Lucas. He took his face in his hand and forced his head to turn to him.

"Why do you keep looking at me?" He asked through soft giggles.

"Because you're beautiful."

Jungwoo looked away, flustered by the sudden compliment. He felt Lucas grab his hand and move from his seat next to him, getting down in front of the older. He reached behind his back.

On one knee, he spoke, "Kim Jungwoo, you are the most beautiful person I have ever laid eyes on. Despite everything that's happened, these past few years with you have been the happiest years of my life. I never ever want to lose you again. So now, I'll ask...would you be mine forever...and marry me?"

Tears came to Jungwoo's eyes as the velvet box opened, revealing a diamond ring. He looked up at Lucas, who had a nervous look on his face. He threw his arms around his lover, embracing him closely. "Yes, of course!"

They heard clapping surround them, finding many supportive passerby. The two leaned away and kissed, causing the uproar to intensify.

Lucas lifted the both of them off the ground, not letting go of Jungwoo. "I love you, Snoopy."

"I love you too, Xuxi."

They retreated from the crowded area hand-in-hand, making it to Taeyong's car. While Lucas drove, Jungwoo sat and thought to himself.

He wants to marry me.

The very thought awestruck him. The fact that Lucas truly wanted to give his life to him. It was alluring.

Making it home, the couple stood in front of the door. "Should we tell them?" Jungwoo asked.

"Well yeah!"

"But when?"

"It doesn't matter to me. Do you want to tell them now?"

"Do you want to tell them now?"

"Snoopy, I just said it doesn't matter to me."

"Well okay, let's tell them!"

They opened the door, finding Taeyong smiling on the couch while reading a manga. Renjun was on the floor, doing a puzzle. Lucas and Jungwoo sat down on the second couch and excessively cleared their throats, getting the other two's attention.

"So..." Jungwoo started, only to be interrupted by Lucas taking his hand and showing the ring to Taeyong and Renjun. Although it took them a minute, they understood and rushed up to see it closer. 

Renjun smiled. "It's about time!"

"Yukhei, how long have you had that ring?"

Jungwoo curiously turned his head to Lucas, awaiting his response. "Heck, I don't even remember. I just know that I've wanted to marry him from the start."

The older got embarrassed and nuzzled into Lucas' arm. While Renjun cringed, Taeyong smiled. "You guys are so cute! When's the wedding?" They exchanged glances, giving Taeyong his obvious answer. "Fine fine, we'll calm down. But seriously you guys, this is so great!"

His heart continued to flutter just thinking about Lucas' act. Sure, they had acted like a married couple for a long time: they shared friends, a house, and even a bed. But now, Jungwoo would soon have the right to truly call him his. It felt so good.
