"...and he said he had a date to their family gathering or whatever. like, why would i care, right?" minji said to the boys in front of her, eating her lunch. they were currently on a lunch break, eating at the cafeteria. she was with minho and woojin, telling them what happened earlier. 

"ooooh he's testing if you're jealous!" minho said, teasing her. minji looked at him weirdly as if he just told her he was pregnant. 

"that's really funny, you know" she said, chuckling sarcastically. woojin rolled his eyes at this.

"let's place a bet. minho and i bet that chan likes you, your bet is..?"

"chan doesn't like me and is just an asshole." minji grinned at her best friends, telling them it was imossible for chan to like her, which was a high chance. it never occured to her that chan might've just liked her was the reason why he kepts bugging her. 

"alright, alright. if we win, you have to do our thesis on music, which is like, due next month. if you win, you can let us do whatever you want us to do." minho said. minji rolled her eyes and nodded while eating, giving up at peruading them that chan doesn't like her. she just wanted to eat. and for sure, she'll win this bet. chan will never, never like me, she thought. 

"minji, we're boys. we can sense what a boy like us feel towards someone." woojin added. 

after our lunch break, it was time to go back to class. the three friends separated, leaving minji alone to go to the computer room of their school. this was one of the girl's favorite subjects. if ever they have time to kill or when the teacher is absent, they could use the computers the whole period. with internet! who wouldn't let that opportunity pass, right?

but it also had her thinking why would we need to learn about these things when they're in the music department. maybe for music production, perhaps. but they still teach photoshop, which was questionable since they were in the music department. 

she was watching go back couple quietly, a series she's been wanting to watch,  when someone taps her shoulder suddenly. she looked beside here and see a grinning bang chan looking at her.

"hi minji." he said quite nicely, smiling at minji. she looked at him with one eyebrow raised.

"what?"

"can i watch that with you?" he said, taking minji by surprise. it wasn't everyday your bully would want to watch k-drama with you.

"aish i just want to watch, pleaaaase?" he whined to me, shaking her arm like a kid while she looked at him weirdly. she knew for a fact that he won't stop bothering minji until she gives him the answer he wants, so she sighed in defeat and scooted a bit to give him space.
