at this scene, ma jinjoo was crying because choi bando was hit by a car. minji didn't notice she was shedding tears, only chan noticed and handed her a hankerchief. minji gladly took it, wiping away her tears. chan's tummy was full of butterflies, being with the girl he's been liking for a few years now, all civilized.

they were both snapped back to reality when the bell suddenly rang. minji realized their face were close, almost cheek to cheek.

"okay class, please submit your works through my email. finished or not finished pass it now." the teacher said.

"i-uh, i gotta go," minji said, taking her earphobes with her slowly.

"y-your hanker-"

"keep it. it's full of your tears now, i don't want it." chan said, avoiding eye contact because he was shy. minji nodded, getting her things and leaving immediately.

that was so awkward. minji thought to herself, still glancing at chan's hankerchief on her hand while walking. lost in thoughts, she suddenly bumped on to someone.

"oh, hi noona!" the boy said, giving her a big smile that washed away all her confusion. goodness, is this boy a sunshine or what?

"i'm your noona but you're taller me, aren't you, jeongin-ah?" minji said to him, messing his hair. he pouted, trying to fix.

"where you going to, noona?" the younger asked.

"to the library. wanna join me?" she asked. jeongin shook his head.

"i still have class to attend to, noona. don't you have one also?"

"not really. homeroom period's on my schedule now, and our teacher isn't around so," jeongin nodded.

"then, i'll see you later noona! bye bye!" jeongin said waving at her and leaving. minji continued to walk to the library. as she arrived, she saw familiar faces: hyunjin, and seungmin.

minji decided to join them since they look quiet and civil.

"hi guys, mind if i sit here?" she asked the two, making them look at her all of a sudden.

"hi noona, sure! sit beside me i-if you want" hyunjin said, a bit nervous.

hyunjin has liked minji since she helped him with her studies in english. he was lacking, and minji was kind enough to tutor him for some time.

minji nodded, smiling at the boys.

"where's jisung and yongbok?" she asked.

"still attending classes, noona. they're teacher extended a few more minutes." seungmin said, not taking his eyes off what he was doing. minji nodded, and proceeded on doing some of her assignments.

"n-noona," hyunjin muttered, getting her attention. minji looked at the boy.

"are you free later?" with this, seungmin's attention was caught. finally. he thought.

"yeah, why?"

"do you wanna maybe, grab ice cream later after school?" hyunjin, all nervous, made minji smile thinking he was cute. the girl nodded.

"meet me at the front gate later, okay? i gotta get back to class, hyunjinie, seungminie. see you later!" minji said. with that, she got up and left. when she left, seungmin pat hyunjin's shoulder.

"you finally had the guts to ask her out. congrats man." he said, smiling. hyunjin nodded, smiling.
