Miranda's pov

We were on tour with Luke. The boys started up a softball team. "Missed ball too much, Jase?" I ask when he sits beside me. He laughs and nods. "What can I say? It's in my blood." I laugh. "You've gotten huge girl. Those babies must be big."  Luke says making me laugh. "Yep. I'm so excited." Music starts to play from a speaker. It was Luke Combs' song when it rains it pours. "I love this song." I say. Someone from the team called Jason's name. "I'm up, babe."  He says, standing up and kissing me. "Love you." I say. "Love you more." He heads onto the field. I listen to the music and watch my amazing husband in his element.

*A few months later*

"I'm only 5 months along. I'm surprised I'm so big already." "Well there's two instead a one in there." Jason says, eating a plate of eggs and bacon. I sit beside him with my own breakfast, a bagel. "I feel fat." "You ain't fat, sweetheart." He says, smiling. "I know but I feel like it." E hugs me sideways. "Hormones suck, huh babe?" He asks. I nod. We finish breakfast and I take a nap.

Jason's pov

I was catching up on recordings while Miranda took a nap. I was getting tired myself though so I turned the TV off and went upstairs beside my amazing wife.

*A few hours later*

I wake up disoriented when I hear a scream. "What's going on?" I groggily mumble, not fully awake. My heart stops seeing blood on the bed beside me and my girl not there. "Miranda?!?" I shout, standing up and tripping over the bed, thus making me fall flat on my face. I ear another in pain scream coming from the bathroom! I run in there panicked. "Miranda?!" She was crying, her hands around her stomach. "What's wrong?! What happened... The blood?" I shakily say, hitting my knees beside her. "My stomach. It hurts! I'm so scared." She whimpers. I help her stand up. She's in pain. We drive to the hospital, calling Luke along the way. The doctor quickly gets her a room and after ten minutes of examination, he reluctantly tells us, she miscarried one of the babies. My heart completely shattered hearing that. I heard a blood curdling scream that made me weak in the knees. "Baby." I gasp, grabbing her hand. They were forced to deliver the baby. My poor girl balled her eyes out seeing our daughter, not breathing. I felt sick to my stomach. The doctor gave her to her and she couldn't stop crying. "My baby!!!" I hug her tight, miserable. The tiny little baby looked just like her beautiful mother. "She didn't even get a chance to live!! It's not fair!!!" "I'm so sorry for your loss." The doctor said.

*A few hours later*

"Hey." I look up to see Luke. They had taken my baby girl hours ago and I wanted her back more than anything. I felt so empty. I didn't know what to do. The doctor had to sedate Miranda because she was so upset. Luke sits beside me. "How's the other baby?" "Alive." I shakily say, my hands clamped around the chair I'm sitting in. "He.... Th-They were fraternal twins... So... They... W-were in different amniotic sacs..... I.... Her.... Hers just.... Wasn't strong enough." I felt the first tears burn my eyes. I closed my eyes tight and Luke hugged me.

*A few days later*

I wrapped my arms around my angel. It was our daughter's funeral. We decided to name her Lea. Lea Michelle Aldean. My sweet baby girl. The grave and casket were so small. We went home after and I got to drinking.

Miranda's pov

I groggily walk downstairs, hearing loud angry screaming. My grief stricken husband throws a chair at the wall. I call his name worried. He doesn't seem to hear me. Then I see the empty six pack on the ground. He screams in rage and stumbled to his knees. I quickly walk over. His hands were shaking around his head. I grabbed one and got him to stand up. "Come on. Let's go lay down." I say, exhausted. He was shaking. "This.... Shouldn't.... It... Isn't fair." He struggles to say. "Why... Why..." Poor Jason. I help him stand up and force him to walk. "We both need to rest." I say.
