Christine was nearly at the end of her song and still no sign of this opera ghost, no doubt that she had a beautiful voice, but I was getting a little bored,
'No sign of him, you getting anything Jack? ' No reply, maybe he didn’t hear him,
'Sorry, Captain jack' Nothing, surely even an audible smirk even from him, I turned around and to no surprise both Jack and Yuna were gone, typical, you give them all one rule, just one rule, don’t wander off, it must go in one ear and out the other, or not go in at all, everybody else had their eyes on Christine so I snuck off to find them both. I was wondering around for a few minutes when I almost tripped over something, it was Yuna's bag, funny how it had moved a good 200 yards away on its own, and next to it was another black rose, funny that he wasn’t after anyone else but her, I put the rose in my pocket and picked up her bag, luckily Jack wasn’t too far away, I found him slouched against a wall, a slacked noose around his neck,
'I'm guessing you met the ghost' he pulled the noose of his neck, his neck was red raw from the rope,
'Pretty strong for a ghost, didn’t even hear him come near me, can understand the whole ghost persona' he noticed her bag in my hand,
'She followed me, luckily I gave her the key, I doubt he is going to find it' that was our only way of finding her, hopefully he wouldn’t find it, otherwise we might really struggle to get anywhere here,
'First things first, Christine, she knows who he is, and Madame Giry too, she made the effort to hide that black rose on the stage, cause they are certainly not a valentines gift from her'.My mouth felt dry, my head was swimming, I felt like I was going to be sick, amongst over things I could hear someone playing the piano, it sounded like love never dies, but it hurt to think, my limbs felt a little numb as I tried to move my leg, I opened my eyes and saw that I was led on a bed on top of a red linen cover, there were some lit candles by the bed, the wax hadn’t even started to melt yet so they hadn’t been lit long, so I'm guessing I hadn’t been here long either, I tried to turn my head so I could see where the music was coming, but I felt so weak I couldn’t manage it, it was then the music stopped, I wasn’t as scared as I should have been, if he was going to kill me he would of done it by now with Jack, he was dead because of me, it was my fault, he died because I got curious, I heard footsteps clicking towards me, I tried to sit up but I couldn’t move my limbs, I huffed in frustration which was not the best thing to have done, it told him I was awake, I could hear him pouring some water, he then walked round to me so that I could now see him, he placed the glass of water on the side and he bent down so he was now at my level, he wore a white clean blouse, it looked so pure against his jet black hair, his porcelain white mask almost smothered his face, from watching the films and stage adaptations, his scares and distortion would not be an issue for me, but I was not about to fuel any rage or anger that he had, his eyes were something else though, they were a deep rich brown, like chocolate, they didn’t show a hint of murder or rage, but that of a caring man, so why did he take me?,
'How are you feeling? ' His voice was smooth like the velvet sheets I was on, he looked a touch remorseful, well, he did kidnap me, and this wasn’t the phantom that I have seen, but then none of this is straightforward, not the two weird guys, or the fact that he has pretty much ignored Christine, nothing made sense,
'I can't move, you, you didn’t have too…' I couldn’t get my words out, without a word he helped me up and rested me against the head board, he took the glass of water and held it to my lips, I just managed to swallow the water without gaging, I haven’t eaten in ages and I don't think the drugging helped, it showed because the moment he put the glass down, a grumbling roar echoed throughout the room, we both looked at each other and I blushed, hugely,
'Sorry, not eaten in a while' his reaction was a little delayed by my, bodily function, but he soon snapped back into reality,
'Ah yes you must be starved' as swift as anything, he scooped me up into his arms and headed deeper into his lair, I never thought I would ever be this close to him, I wanted to question why he brought me here, but it wasn’t like this was overly a bad situation, I wanted to know more about him, stories about him are more like Chinese whispers, all distorted from the original truth, I don’t think there is a murderous bone in his body, but trying to kidnap me is not a great start, or just doing it in general. He sat me down on a plump sofa while he went off to get me something to eat, I noticed a dim glow shining from my chest, I forgot about the key that Jack gave me, luckily it hadn’t fallen out during the kidnapping, I made sure that he was out of sight before I retrieved the key from its hiding spot, it was glowing brighter than before, but I guess that was because I was further away from whatever was making it glow, it was very calming the glow, I didn’t feel threatened much, but it wasn’t the sort of predicament I was expecting, I quickly put the key back and hoped he wouldn’t noticed, luckily the moment I put it back, the glow faded out completely, it must of sensed danger, I don’t things could get any weirder, but I wasn’t holding my breath.
