'Let's see black rose, hand cream, IPod, shopping receipt, hang on what's this' the Doctor wasn’t one to go through a ladies possessions, but he was pretty sure that there was something in her bag that might have caused all this, go through her stuff he found a notebook, it was worn and the pages were pretty full, he sat down on the floor as he went through the pages, some song lyrics, a few odd notes here and there, but then something caught his eye, she had written down specific dates and below them he assumed she had wrote down her dream, they were scattered throughout the book, he noticed Jack entering the Tardis when he found something peculiar,
'I haven’t seen Madame Giry in a while maybe now is the best time to go look for Yuna, bit rude to go through a ladies diary isn’t it' but he had all the information that he needed, he hopped up of the floor and raced out of the Tardis, Jack followed swiftly,
'It's more than just a diary Jack, this is our map to Sarah, she's given us a map to her and this opera ghost' The Doctor locked up the Tardis as Jack stood there somewhat confused,
'Sarah, who's Sarah, what's so important about her diary? ' The Doctor had run off again and Jack was quick to catch up with him,
'That’s her real name, and she's just told us exactly where she is and how to get to her'.
The Doctor had now explained to Jack that Sarah didn’t use her real name because she was worried at the time, which he couldn’t blame her, he then went on to explain that Sarah had written down in her diary her lucid dreams, meaning in some dreams that she had, she had physically what was going on in her dreams, he said it was common for people to have lucid dreams every now and again, but in Sarah's case, she had predicted near enough what was going to happen at this point in her dream, and it also showed what way she went to get to the opera ghost,
'So was she really her at some point when she was dreaming, as a ghost' The Doctor was a hard man to keep up, he was just a man on a mission,
'Possibly, which could explain a lot about the opera ghost, maybe it really was a ghost, well not exactly a ghost I don’t believe in ghost, perhaps an astral projection, where the soul leaves the body and ventures of to explore whilst the person is sleeping, so yes, maybe she was here before, and maybe that’s why the Phantom is so drawn to her, maybe he saw her as a ghost, but not a ghost' how does he ever make his mind up thought Jack, he starts off with an answer, then changes it half way through, soon The Doctor started to slow down as we got closer to a series of doors, he came to halt as he looked through the diary, he started to pace a little then he looked up and ran to a door, it looked like the rest of the doors but it had a bronze sign near the top it had a number on it,
'10, why? 10' the door was locked so The Doctor whipped out his sonic screwdriver,
' 1910, the year the Phantom of the Opera was published, her mind must of incorporated it into her dream, let's see if it's right' the lock clicked open and The Doctor opened the door slightly in case anyone was in the room, with clearance he soon turned on the light to the room, it was a dim light but it was better than nothing, there wasn’t much in the room a rails of clothing, a few tables and chairs, nothing much, but The Doctor was drawn towards the massive fireplace at the back of the room, it had a thick layer of dust over the surface and the large mirror above was covered in cobwebs,
'Are you sure this right Doctor, I mean I'm all for imagination I really am, but this room hasn’t been touched in years' The Doctor ignored his comment, he was to engrossed in the girls diary, at this point he had now got his brainy specs out, Jack knew he didn’t need them, he also knew they were fake glasses, finally he called out for him,
'Jack, there's a button on the bottom corner of the frame, when I say, push it' he wasn’t sure what he was looking for, but as soon as got closer to the frame, he could see a button sort of shape poking out, he poised his finger over it and waited for the confirmation,
'And , now' he pushed with little effort, he could hear something click behind the mirror and as they both stepped backwards, the whole wall shifted backwards, they both stood there for a moment, The Doctor stepped forward to test what way the wall was going, he then notice a small gap on the left hand side, he took a quick glance and slipped inside the crack, Jack was a little concerned for a moment, sure The Doctor could talk his way out of pretty much anything, but he was the one who had the muscle, and the cheeky smile,
'If you die, I hope you have a manual in the Tardis' he was about to go through the crack when The Doctors head popped out,
'She needs a spring clean too' Jack being the bulky bloke that he was, just managed to squeeze through the gap and followed The Doctor down the dark passage, luckily both of them had a torch of sorts, The Doctor closed the notebook and took out his Tardis key, he whispered something to it and it suddenly began to glow dimly, and with that they followed the key to Sarah, what they weren’t aware of was that someone had been watching them, but she was clearly unaware that they knew she was.
