"Aren't you excited Kharma? I definitely am!" Mom said from the other line of the call.
I hummed in response because I knew if I agreed with words it would sound completely fake.
"How about we go on a shopping spree when you get here?" She asked.
"Mom we have lots of time ahead of us until I get there. We don't have to start figuring things out about what we're gonna do when I get there." I said but it came out with a hint of attitude.
She sighed, "I know this is hard for you. Having to restart everything but I promise you this will be for the best."
"Yeah whatever. I need to go, Aisha's waiting outside." I said while rolling my eyes.
"Alright then, call me later Kharma. Love you." She said.
"Yeah right. Bye." I said getting ready to press the red button to end the awkward call.
"Um excuse me young lady do not give me atti--" I cut the call with a smirk and threw my phone on my bed.
My phone vibrated and I sighed. I reached down for it and took a glance at the screen.
Thatwoman: Do not cut the call when I'm talking Kharma!
I rolled my eyes at my mom's text and closed my phone leaving her on read.
I got my jacket and quickly left my room, I rushed down the stairs and slipped my shoes on.
"I'll be back soon Dad!" I yelled from the door.
I heard a faint alright from upstairs and left the house.
"You took your time sweet cheeks." I heard from Aisha.
"I was on the phone to my mom." I said.
She nodded. "Let's go shopping then." She said already walking away from my front lawn.
I fixed my jacket and quickly caught up with Aisha.
•••
"I'm gonna miss you. Like a lot." She said.
"Aww, can't say the same for you b*tch." I said.
She cackled and pushed me.
"I take it back, I hate you." She said.
"I love you too boo." I said as I looked through the clothes on the racks.
"Do you think you might see him?" She asked and I knew who she was talking about.
I sighed. "Hopefully not and if I do, I won't talk to him. I'll act like he's just a stranger to me." I said.
"I wouldn't. He's the hot stuff." She said casually as she pulled out a top analysed it.
I gaped at her, "Aisha shut up!"
"It's true though and you know it. But it's time to move on. There's other fish in the sea. Brick isn't the only one."
I raised my eyebrow at her, she realized and done the same to me.
"What?" She said.
"Aisha Luana just gave me boy advice wow that's something you don't hear everyday." I said with a laugh.
"Shut up."
"You shut up." I retorted back.
"Whatever go try the top I picked out for you in the changing room you mole rat."
I gave her the side eyes and went to the changing rooms and tried on the top.
I looked at myself in the mirror.
It was a cute top. I decided to buy it so I changed back into my top and walked out with the other top.
After another hour of shopping Aisha and I decided that it was time to go back home.
She dropped me off to my house and headed back home to hers.
I knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before the door opened.
"Hi Dad." I said as he smiled and moved aside for me to get inside.
He closed the doors behind me. "How was your day kiddo?" He asked looking at all the bags I had.
"It was fun. Something I'll definitely miss when I'm gone." I said with sadness in my voice.
"You'll find friends to go shopping with when you settle there once again."
I shrugged, "It still won't be the same."
Before he could answer, I picked up my bags and went upstairs to my room.

I spent the rest of the night binge watching Teen Wolf and eating potato chips.Things were falling apart for me. There's literally nothing I could do to change it.
Life is so crap.
