gloomy max !

"You're so dead! You were supposed to be-"
Billy spoke cold, until he saw the streams of glistening tears down Max's cheeks
"What happened?"  He walked closer placing a hand on his step sisters shoulder
"Just leave me alone Billy."
She nudged him off, walking into her bedroom. The young girl flopped down onto her bed, she was angry and upset. She had done nothing but be nice to Mike, and he was purely awful. She decided to try and get some sleep,

Soon morning came, Max rose from bed with a sigh. She got ready and walked into the kitchen
"You need a ride Maxie?" Mrs Mayfield smiled
"No, and don't call me that." She crossed her arms and walked out the door and onto the bus.
Elle sat in the backrow, laughing with a friend, she glared at Max before turning her head away.
The redhead sat down near the front with a sad look on her face "Hey Max! Back here!"
A voice called out, she turned around, it was Elle, Max stood up walking to the back,
"Stay away from Mike, he's not into California sluts like you." She whispered, then laughed.

Max felt rage fill up inside of her, she dug her nails into her palms and walked back to the front with a furious look on her face. She sat down with a sigh, and the bus finally began driving off to Hawkins Middle School. As the ride went on Max thought about Mike, and how she just kept trying to be his friend, but it didn't work. The thought of seeing him made her want to vomit. The bus finally stopped at the school, Max quickly rushed out, heading to her locker.

"Hey Max! What's wrong?" Lucas asked, standing beside Max as she dug in her locker for books
"Nothing," Max sighed, shutting her locker. She knew she couldn't shit talk Mike to his best friends, she wasn't that kind of girl
"Alright, well I'm always here to talk." Lucas smiled brightly, Max gave a little smile
"Why are you being so nice to me?"
"What? I'm being nice to you because I want too, your totally tubular." Lucas winked, Max laughed as she rolled her eyes and walked to math class.

"So how was Mikes place?" Will smiled at Max as she sighed and put down her pencil
"Fine, until Elle showed up. She's the worst."
"I agree one hundred percent," He giggled
"The whole party's coming to my house after school, I know you and Elle hate each other but it'll be fun, my mom won't be home."
"What about your brother?" Max asked
"He'll be off doing some weird shit with Nancy."
"Alright, sounds fun." The redhead smiled
