A/n: Yo... I'm actually really sorry for this unplanned hiatus, it's just that life got me dead and my braincells and I needed some time to recover. Anw, enjoy this poor excuse of a chapter :)

Dead. Ten felt dead. He was pretty sure he was going to physically die anytime soon now, as he couldn't feel his legs anymore. The position he was in was the cause of his dead limps, of course, but Ten didn't want to move from his uncomfortable position. His back was pressed against his mattress, his head turned towards his door, and he had his legs held up against the wall, slowly but surely parting into a split.

He let out a sigh of boredom mixed with despair. The first day of his week didn't go as planned and Ten still hadn't quite figured out why yet. He was supposed to talk to his giant best friend, make up and then crash at his house for some time, enjoying the American's wifi speed.
But Johnny had reacted totally differently from how the smaller had expected. Ten didn't like seeing such an afflicted look in the other's eyes, especially when he knew he was the cause of it. He hadn't heard from Johnny all day, but seeing as red as his eyes had looked during lunch, Ten could just tell the taller boy had burst out crying after he had left the café in a hurry.

The smaller's heart hurt as well.
But Ten didn't understand anything of it.

He sighed again and finally changed positions. His phone showed 11:23 in the evening. The next morning, he had to start his day with two hours in Korean in a row and the Thai male wanted to make a proper impression to his teacher, for once, instead of the impression of a gawky boy with tuckered out eyes.

Finally deciding it was time to sleep, Ten got up and prepared himself to go to bed. After brushing his teeth and applying creams on his face tiredly, he came back and tucked himself in, hugging his plushie tightly into his arms.
"Good night, JohnD...", he quietly mumbled in the worn out teddy.

"Rise and shine, hoe!", Lisa exclaimed to wake her grumpy brother up. She strutted into his room with the same level of sass the older usually had and pulled his blankets off the bed.

"Uh?" Ten looked with a hazy look and messy hair. Turning to his sister, he asked what she was doing in his room with a hoarse voice.

"You didn't wake up on time and, being the merciful woman I am, I decided I didn't have the heart to let you be late.", she explained in a disinterested tone of voice, lazily picking at her nails.

"Oh my god! Why today?" Ten asked to none really as he left his bed at the speed of light, barely checking the time as he violently bumped into his younger sibling, and ran to his bathroom.

Washing up the least he could without smelling like a dead rat for the rest of the day, Ten then ran around his room frantically looking for clean clothes. Finding none, he settled for a smelly shirt and some wrinkled pants. He hurriedly grabbed a cereal bar and a brick of chocolate milk in the kitchen before dashing out of his house.

The rain was pouring down heavily as he sprinted towards the bus stop. He knew he had missed his bus, but there was a slight chance he could take the following one without being too late to school.

However, Gods were not on his side that day.
Ten wasted 5 minutes waiting for a bus that never came before finally taking things in hands.
He had 7 minutes to run almost 5 kilometers before the school bell rang, and he was not ready for what was about to come.

His backpack was heavy on his back and hit him with every step he took. The temptation to throw it away was massive, but Ten kept himself from hurling it on the sidewalk. The rain was lashing his face violently, but it wasn't the worst. The male wasn't afraid to catch a cold, he was actually afraid he'd faint here and there, head first into a puddle.
Never in his life had he ever run that fast. He couldn't feel his legs anymore but he knew they were moving fast. He could feel his lungs, though, and it felt like he was about to puke them out of his body.

When he reached school after the draining race, he was soaked, but God was he glad. Who would have thought he'd ever smile as he passed the gates only 3 minutes late.
He dodged the few high schoolers still in the hallways and walked to his classroom hurriedly.

He still hadn't caught his breath yet and he was still soaked from head to toe, but, for some reason, he didn't want to be late to class.
