Taeil was never an angry man. He'd always known how to keep his emotions under control and literally despised yelling. But if Taeil despised something more than being angry, it was being disturbed during lunchtime.

The first few days, Taeil let it go. He endured his best friend's complaining while he ate his food and drank his milk. But the giant would not stop going on and on about Ten and Taeil had enough.

"Look, Taeil," Johnny shook the teenager out of his thoughts with a nudge, "I think I figured a way to move on from the virginity incident."

Taeil shut his eyes and masticated his mouthful of sandwich. He groaned inwardly and cursed all his ancestors, "I have a bad feeling about this."

"Look, look, it's genius." Johnny's excitement was palpable but Taeil was done being a love therapist for free.

"I can't fucking look, Johnny, when you're about to spit your stupid idea." Annoyance, anger mayhaps, dripped in his voice but the taller boy giggled at the cuteness of his friend's frown.

"I decided I wanted to rebrand myself," at that, Taeil raised a brow but let the other continue nonetheless, "I wanna move from being the fuck in fuck marry kill to being the marry."

Taeil sighed, dumbfounded, while Johnny tried further explaining himself over the discussions in the canteen. But it was useless, for the Korean male downed his banana milk in a swift movement and slammed his arm on their table loudly.

"Listen up, you oversized toddler." Johnny closed his mouth and stared at the angered boy in front of him. "You're gonna step up your freaking game and confront you-know-who, before I shove your guitar up your stupid ass."

Johnny stayed silent, eyes wide open at the sudden outburst, and blinked idiotically. "Understood?" The latter nodded. "I am sick of hearing you talk about that. Stupidity has consequences and you should deal with them."

Johnny knew his friend was right. He'd been avoiding Ten's calls and texts, asking him restlessly to meet up for their project, and yet, he still was complaining about the situation to Taeil.
He knew he wasn't being fair, neither to Taeil nor to Ten, but he didn't like being wrong.

He sulked in his room, that evening, his phone in his hands, pondering about many things. He shook his head, I am not childish, and finally decided it was time to act.
Johnny was a man of action, after all, and the way he'd been acting for the past week wasn't very like him.

"Hello?", Ten asked after picking up the call.

"Hey, it's Johnny."

"I know," a long pause ensued and Johnny fidgeted uncomfortably on his squeaky desk chair. "so, um, why are you calling?"

"For the project, to meet up, ya know."

"Yeah, right, the project." Was this disappointment, the American asked himself. "Wanna grab a salad with me tomorrow?"

"Since when do you even eat salads?"

"I had a fruit cup on Sunday and everything's changed." Johnny chuckled and Ten smiled at the heartwarming sound.

"Ok, sounds fine by me. I'll see tomorrow at lunch, then."

The call had been short but it was a big first step for the both of them.
