We arrived at Valerie's Parents' place, it was a beautiful house in the suburbs, it looked so warm and homey. I parked where she told me to, and we took our bags and stuff from my car, walking towards the entrance of the house.

There was a huge knot on my stomach, i was super nervous, i0ve never wanted parents to like me as much as i do right now. My relationship with Valerie was the best thing going on for me right now and i needed them to like me.

The door opened and i took a deep breath, to my surprise there was a little kid, he looked around 8 or 9 years old, and he was standing on the doorframe "Tia Viiii" (Auntie V) he screamed, hugging Valerie's waist. I chuckled and the boy now noticed me. He pulled away from the hug and stood there examining me

"Hola, como te llamas?" (Hello, What's your name?) I looked at him and sighed, realizing i should have practiced some spanish before coming here

"Jason" Valerie said and the little boy looked up at him "I know you don't like it, but we'll speak english in front of noah, okay?" She looked at him in a stern look that even got ME scared.

The guy pouted and sighed, looking back at me "I'm sorry" He apologized, such an educated little kid. "My name is Jason" He extended his hand to me and i grabbed it between mine, it looked huge next to his.

"I'm noah little buddy, I'm sorry I don't speak spanish, but maybe you can teach me" I said cheerful and the guy giggled and shook his head

"White men suuuck at speaking spanish" he giggled again "Daddy never learned"

Well, at least there was someone else who didn't know spanish in this house.

"Are you my new uncle?" The boy asked looking at me and i saw how Valerie blushed , I only chuckled

"Jason, Enough... go play with David" Valerie said frowning and he groaned

"Si señora....'"(yes mam) and he felt the living room complaining in spanish

"Sorry about that, he is just a little boy and..."

"Hey babe, it's okay" I smiled to her and kissed her forehead " he didn't say anything bad, I mean.... I hope to marry you someday and become his uncle" I said blushing a little for what i said and Valerie just smiled . Thankfully she didn't do any of her jokes this time

"Valeriaaaa? Estoy en la cocina!! Ayudame con el postre" (Valerie, I'm in the kitchen, help me with the dessert) Someone yelled, probably her mother. I stood there not knowing what to do and Valerie kissed my cheek.

"Your room is down the hall to the right, and mine is on the second floor to the left. Leave the bags and meet me at the kitchen" She quickly said before pecking my lips and running to the kitchen.

I nodded but i was still confused , i just followed her instructions and left my things in the room down the hall, and her things in her room upstairs. It sucked that we wouldn't be allowed to sleep together, but it was her parent's rules and i have to respect them to make them like me.

After that, i took a very deep breath and walked downstairs to where i heard most noises coming from, they were probably coming from the kitchen so i walked in there.

"oh there you are" Valerie said walking to me and grabbing my arm.

"Noah, This is my mom, clara and my Sister, Andrea" She said introducing me to them, i extended my arm with a smile

"Nice to meet you, 'mam, You have the most wonderful daughter, thank you so much for giving birth to her" Her mom laughed and took my hand shaking it. when i walked to her sister she engulfed me in a hug

"Noaaah!!! It's so nice to meet you, I was starting to think my sister had became a lesbian, San francisco is full of gay people" She said and i only shrugged

"Andrea, stop, you know My best friend is gay, and so is your ex-husband" Valerie commented and her mom and sister gasped and then rolled their eyes

"Anyways, I'm so glad to meet you , You'll have the best colombian meal today" She said excited

"Yeah babe, You'll love it. I already told mom to add more to everything, cuz i know you eat like you were a giant" Valerie said and i blushed, giving her a look for saying that "Where is dad anyways?" She asked

"Comprando unas cosas en el Grocery" (Buying something at the grocery store) Her mom replied, i didn't thik it was rude, it was her first language, she maybe didn't even do it intentionally

Valerie sighed and looked at me apologetically "I'll introduce you to dad when he comes" She said with a smiled and kissed my cheek, i heard little footsteps comming to the kitchen

"Tiaaaa , juega xbox conmigo!!!" (Auntiee play xbox with me) Jason said to valerie

"No puedo, mi corazón, estoy ayudando a la abuela con la cena, por qué no invitas a Noah?" (I cant, my love, i'm helping your grandma with dinner, why don't you ask noah?) She spoke to her nephew, i didn't understand a single word, but the boy came to me

"Noah?" he looked up at me

"Yes, buddy?" I replied leaning down to his height

"Want to play xbox with me?" he asked hopeful, his eyes sparkling

"Sure thing buddy, " I said with a smile and followed him to the living room were his game was.

I heard laughs and spanish coming from the kitchen, probably the girls had lots to catch on, so i decided to stay on the living room playing with Jason.
