Noah:

I pick up my keys from my night stand, after i showered, did my hair, applied her favorite cologne and dressed in the best way i could think of just to impress Valerie, I got in my car to drive to the starbucks in the campus. It's sunday and Chris convinced Valerie that the 3 of us have our routine breakfast. I hadn't seen her since she walked out on me the last time i poured my feelings to her. But at least i got to hug her, right? that hug gave me the energy i needed to keep fighting for us.

We were supposed to get our breakfast at starbucks but I decided i wanted to treat Valerie with the fluffy pancakes at Carl's Diner. So I parked in starbuck and when Valerie and Chris came to view, I got out and walked to them

"I'm in the mood for pancakes" I say as i walk to them rubbing my belly. "Do you guys want to try something new?" I tell them both. Valerie has eaten those pancakes with me before but of course she doesn't remember and Chris has never gone without us there

"I'm down" Chris says giving me a smile, he's been really nice to me all of these days since he's seen how Valerie has been trying to avoid me. He says he only pretended to be mean to our relationship, but he knew i always made Valerie truly happy and he wanted us back together.

Valerie, on the other hand, doesn't care what we were before and she just wants to deal with her amnesia in her own way. Which i should respect, but it hurts like hell.

"yeah, okay, everything is new to me anyways" she says laughing a little and i laugh too though it actually makes me really sad.

We don't say anything else and they both get in my car, instead of getting on front like she always does, Valerie goes to the backseat, which makes Chris scream in victory and he seats on front.

I get in after a long sigh and turn the engine on

"Did i get updated into the girlfriend seat?" Chris asks jokingly and i sigh, when we went out the three of us, Valerie would always be on front and Chris always on the back

"Seems like it" I say getting out of the parking lot and making my way to the diner i had planned to take them

"So I am like your second girlfriend or something?" Chris presses on the Joke and i roll my eyes

"Yeah Chris, sure" I say with a shrug and he claps his hands

"Do i get sexual girlfriend benefits?" He smirks and me and Valerie snorts from behind, and then lets out her angelical laughter

"Oh my god, Chris!" I laugh shaking my head and place my hand in his knee "Come by my house later" I wink at him jokingly and we all laugh at the joke until we reach the Diner that was not really far from where we were.

After i park, we both get outside and we walk in a booth inside the diner. when we sit down, a new waitress walks to our table and i am surprised is not usually margaret, the lovely old woman.

This girl is about our age, she was blonde, blue eyed, bright smile, typical pretty but not so smart girl. and she takes her notepad and smiles at us.

"Hello, welcome to Carl's diner, what can i get you?" She said smiling at me while the other checked the menu

"I know i want the pancakes, an extra side of butter and maple syrup" I said with my mouth already watering from the thought of it

"Sure, anything for you" She said smiling again at me and biting her lip. I sighed and looked across the table to Chris and Valerie "What do you guys want, I 100% recommend the pancakes" I say without a doubt and Valerie nods

"i'll get the pancakes" She says putting the menu down and chris does as well

"Yeah, me too" Chris hands her the menu and she looks back at me again.

"3 pancakes coming right up. I will be back sooner than you think" She says smiling again. "Don't miss me too much" She adds and i take a look at Valerie, who seems uninterested in my conversation as she just plays with a strand of her hair.

Chris seems offended and scoofs after she leaves "Rude!" he says to us and i think the same, doesn't she see my girlfriend is right there?

"I know, what the fuck" i say shaking my head and rolling my eyes

"What's wrong?" Valerie asks Naively and chris and i look at her frowning.

"She was obviously hitting on Noah, didn't you see her?" he asked surprised and she just shrugged as she kept looking at the strand of hair for any split ends.

"Oh that?" she laughed a little and shrugged, AGAIN. "I think she's cute, you should ask her for her number" She tells me and i nearly choke on my own spit.

"So you don't mind she was flirting with me?" I ask surprised and she shakes her head

"No, i don't, You are a hot guy , Noah, it's normal for girls to like you" She says shrugging, like literally she doesn't feel anything when that girl flirted with me

"Yeah, but not if i'm sitting on the same table with you" I reply trying to get at least something, but she is emotionless.

"We are not sitting next to each other, we are not holding hands, kissing, or even hugging" she says calm "The girl did nothing wrong" She says like nothing happened and she doesn't notice that every single one of her words sting.

"So... if i go there and ask her for her number, you wouldn't care? " i keep pushing and she smiles at me

"No, i think iT'd be a great idea if you do, she's gorgeous" She adds and i sigh

"you don't mind... not AT ALL? Okay, i'm gonna go ask her" I threaten and she doesn't do anything at all

"Okay, good luck!" she encouraged me and i sigh defeated. I stand up and walk to the counter and the girl smiles widely at me. I eye Valerie to see her reaction but she's not even looking , she is now checking her phone.

"Do you need me?" she asked leaning on the counter, trying to look cute. I panic thinking that i'm being unfaithful to Valerie, even if i'm just trying to get the girl's number.

"Um... with the pancakes... can i have a side of bacon as well?" i tell her trying to not let her hopes up. She sighs disappointed and nods

"Yes sure" She says smiling a little and goes to the kitchen again. I walk back to our booth and Valerie lets go of the phone.

"That's my boy, did you get her number?" she says smiling excitedly, like seriously? does she not care AT ALL?

"yeah, don't know if i like her enough to ask her out, though" i wouldn't call her, i didn't even ask for her number, i wouldn't do that to Valerie, even if she is approving it right now

"why not?" she asks frowning and i sigh shaking my head

"Don't know, she's just not my type" I confess and Valerie giggles

"What's your type then?" She leans on her elbows a little closer to me with a smirk on her face, and Chris glances at me approvingly.

Is valerie really flirting with me right now?

My heart flutters with happiness just at the thought of that.

"Oh you know, Shorter, greener eyes, more brunette, fuller lips, more sarcastic" I say describing her and she just giggles

"Sounds like the perfect kind of gal" She says smiling

"Yeah, They are the best kind" I laugh as well, and after a few smiles and seconds of eye contact, Valerie takes her phone and looks down again.

I look down at her hands and she's still wearing the bracelet i got her, she doesn't even know what it means, but she still uses it. I haven't got the courage to tell her i was the one who gave it to her, It might scare her and make her take it off

Well.... At least i made some progress today.
