Chapter 22

Yuto POV
"Wooseok we have to hide.. NOW."
I ran into the room and shook Wooseok awake. His eyes shot open, filled with panic.

"What's wrong? What's going on?!" "She's here. She found out where we are. We need to hide. Or better yet, escape."

Wooseok nodded and we ran downstairs to the first floor bedroom. The knocking on the door got louder and louder. Until it stopped. I held onto Wooseok's arm tightly. "Maybe she gave up?" Wooseok said. "No, she doesn't give up that easily."

Then we heard faint knocking on the door. No... not the door. It's faint but the knocks seem to be closer.

The color drained from my face as I turned to look at the window. I saw my mom. With a crazed look in her eyes with an evil smile plastered on her face.

Oh. Fuck

"Wooseok We need to go. How fast can you run?" "Um pretty fast... why?"

I grabbed his hand and sprinted out of the bedroom and ran through the now open door.

"Wooseok. I need you to run as fast as you can and meet me at the small park down the hill."

"No way Yuto you are coming with me." Wooseok said

"If I go with you than my mother would follow. I need to hold her off so you can escape. This is my fault for getting you into this anyways." I said sadly.

Wooseok shook his head. "No Yuto. I'm not letting you get hurt." As he looked down at the ground. Not noticing that the mother was standing behind Yuto.

I smiled. As tears ran down my face.
"Wooseok." He held his head up. "I love you."

"Y-Yuto..." Wooseok watched in horror as the mother hit his head hard and dragged Yuto away from him. She ran into her car and threw the unconscious Yuto in the trunk. And drove away.

"YUTO!!!!!!!"

Wooseok......
Those words that you said to me......

"I'll always protect you."

They're still true.
