Sunday arrived and I woke up 8:00 am went down stairs to eat breakfast. I greeted Anthony, Jessica, and Stephanie. Abbey has afternoon duty so I would see her at 3:00pm although I would see her at church today. After breakfast I did my daily chores and got ready for church. In went down stairs and had the pleasure of meeting the Kober kids. The oldest Luke age 12 with a skater boy like appearance, The middle child Abbey age 10, had glasses, very tall and long brown hair. and the youngest Sophia age 6 looked identical to Jessica. Jessica, Stephanie and I gathered in a red mini van. While Anthony and the kids went in a separate car. Abbey would meet us there. Inside the church was amazing. Rows of seats lined up and in the front was a stage. It looked like a concert hall. Anthony, the kids, and Abbey met us inside. I sat next to Abbey and Stephanie while Anthony and Jessica sat behind us with their kids. The service was amazing. Way more interesting than a Catholic mass for sure. The pastor was pastor Ken and wife Kerry. After service we went home and spent the rest of the day talking to Stephanie. She talked about her unborn child. She stated he was a male and that she was going to name him Riley Michael. She said there was two options in the home either you keep the baby but then you'll have to leave the home or you can put it up for adoption and remain at the home for up to a year afterwards. Her choice was to put the baby up for adoption due to the father not being there for her and her unborn child. She also mentioned that she has a 3 year old son at home Blane that her mother is watching during her stay at the home. Tears swelled up in her eyes and I apologized. She told me not to worry about it. I told her of my experience with Corey and how the pregnancy began. The next morning Anthony informed Stephanie and I that on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am we were to attended a job finding class called True To Life. The class is for 3 weeks and we were to complete it. So on Tuesday Jessica took  us to the building. We passed a restraunt called Wurst Haus. Stephanie and I walked into the building with a single door. There was a sign in desk a couple feet away from the door. Stephanie and I signed ourselves in and walked down a long hallway. straight across was a bathroom, and to the right was a door. On the inside it looked like a class room except there was two large tables and chairs instead of desks. Two women walked in and introduced themselves. Ms. Meredith looked to be at least 25  with a short brown Bob haircut. Ms. Heather wore a long brown ponytail. She also appeared to be pregnant. I looked around the classroom and saw at least 10 other people sitting in the chairs. The class first started off with introducing ourselves. I can't remember every one in the class but Stephanie started first. Stephanie mentioned her pregnancy and a few things she enjoyed. Then it came my turn. I said that I was pregnant as well and that I was 15 weeks. I also stated that I loved art and music. I was shy so I couldn't think of anything to say.  The instructors said a  little word about themselves and class started. Ms Meredith handed all of us a notebook. The note book had papers that we'd fill out during the course. We first learned about proper body language during a job interview. Before class ended Ms. Meredith mentioned that at the end of the 3 weeks we would be treated to a hair and makeup makeover. I was now extremely excited to finished the course. When the course ended and everyone started to leave, Ms Meredith stopped Stephanie and I and asked us a few questions. Stephanie told her that we live together at a  christian based maternity home. She seemed very interested in what we were about. We then thanked her for her time and left out the door. Jessica waited there for us in the van. We went back home for the rest of the day. Tonight we'd be going to motherhood classes that the PHC held. Stephanie began her last section of the 3rd part course, Childbirth and labor. This my first day at the program and I was learning finance and money handling. Once the class started the teacher introduced herself. I couldn't remember her name. She was a strong christian who was also a couple weeks pregnant with her 3rd child. For the class we learned to count up costs and how to manage your money. I found it to be boring. At the middle of the class we'd break for dinner. They served some kind of meat and and unsweetened tea. Lots of women walked in and all of them were at different stages of their pregnancies. We all said prayer before we ate, then resumed the rest of our classes. The main reason I didn't like classes was because the women brought their boyfriends or husband's with them, and Stephanie was not in my group. I was the only woman in my group without their boyfriend. I could only think of  Jason down in Pensacola. It saddened me greatly. It was late whenever we returned back to the house. I didn't say much on the way home. Wednesday came and I knew we had church that night instead of the morning like Sunday. Wednesday night church had less people than on Sunday. Instead of having an actual service like on Sundays, Wednesday nights we would be doing a lesson and it was called between the sheets, love, marriage, and relationships. I actually really loved the lesson. The pastor would read scriptures from the bible and it would be related to the lesson. We went home and told Abbey about how much I loved church. I went to bed that night happy. Thursday and Friday we didn't have any plans so we stayed and chilled at the house. I was excited because I would be able to get to call Jason from the house the up coming week. On Monday Anthony told me to get a list of people I wanted to call from the house. I had Jason, mom, and dad on my list. Tuesday afternoon after True to Life classes I was able to call Jason and my parents. I was allowed 2 calls a day 20 minutes for each call and if I went over 20 minutes I would have to pull from the jar. Calling Jason was the highlight of my day. I told him all about the beautiful home and the classes I took on Tuesdays and the community service activities helping out at the PHC. I told him about church on Sundays, but the most important thing was that I missed him. I wished he was in town so I could see his face. 20 minutes came by fast and it was time to call my parents. I had told them everything about the home, church, and classes. My conversation wasn't as long as it was with Jason. I was still a tad upset with how they were handling my situation. So whenever I talked to them, I cut my conversation short. This upcoming week was Easter. I was having mixed feelings about it because Stephanie was making a last visit to her parents for a week, and I have only been at the home for 2 weeks and did not have the privilege to visits yet. The week went on as normal. Stephanie's mom came to pick her up Friday and I was able to meet Blane. He was adorable. He has light blonde hair and big blue eyes. He looked just like Stephanie. Stephanie left and I was by myself. Abbey promised we would make cookies Saturday night and have our own Easter. Anthony and Jessica would be spending Easter with their family. I was lucky to have Abbey. So on Saturday night Abbey and I made home made cookies and homemade frosting using food dye, confectioners sugar powder, and water. I had a great time. Abbey and I were a lot alike. we both liked Josh Groban and Adele. We both loved art and were artists. Abbey mentioned that she was taking online classes to be an art teacher. I thought that was awesome. At the end of the night we saran wrapped the frosted baked cookies for the Kober family tomorrow. The extras I ate. Abbey would be be on full duty tomorrow because. Anthony and Jessica would be taking the kids to spend Easter with the extended family. Easter morning I woke up in an unusually good mood and for ready for Easter Sunday church. In decided to wear a purple and pink plaid dress that was beautiful. It had a beautiful bow in the middle and of looked great on me. I looked down and In could see a small baby bump through my dress. I smiled brightly and headed down stairs for breakfast. I greeted Abbey with a smile and ate some cereal before heading off. At church I sat down with Abbey and enjoyed the church service about Christ's resurrection. The people had played out a sketch and it was very heartwarming. After church we went back to the house and I spent the rest of the day relaxing. In the evening Abbey and I had a nice Easter dinner just the two of us. We had a steak dinner and it was delicious and savory. My Easter Sunday was good and I'm glad I had someone to spend it with. The next day Stephanie came back and told of her Easter weekend with her family. The 17th week was approaching and major events were approaching fast. Monday came and went and Tuesday in True to Life class they mentioned on Wednesday they would be holding the makeover treat at the top salon out here in Lake Jackson. I was super excited. I also had a surprise to tell them. I GOT MYSELF A JOB AND I HAD ALREADY STARTED. The job was at Pecan Acres Pet Care and it was only 5 minutes away from the house. I got praised and everyone was excited for me. After class I went to use the restroom. I sat down to pee and dark brown color stained my underwear. It was blood. I freaked out and immediately called Jessica to take me to the E.R. While in the E.R. they performed a number of tests like blood tests and ultrasounds. After waiting 2 hours for results they said everything was OK and sent me on my way. I had my doubts but I let of slip my mind because I had a lot going for me. The rest of the day flew by and I was preparing to go to work the next day. The next morning arrived and I was feeling anxious. I was still in training so I had work from 12-3 pm. When 12 arrived I was ready for work and my boss and I ran through all the pets that were kept there and listed their needs, took care of them and the last task was to let them out to play. At the back of the building was a  big spacious backyard large enough to train them and let them run around. It was incredible. Abbey had picked me up at the end of work. Tonight was the makeover. After dinner Abbey took Stephanie and I to the Salon where we would have our hair and makeup done. We met everyone there and we proceeded. Stephanie had her curly red hair cut short into a Bob and straightened. I had my shoulder length hair cut short into a cute pixie cut. Next we had our eyebrows waxed and our makeup done. We both looked amazing. When Abbey came to pick us up she took pictures. Before we left we thanked everyone for an amazing time and thanked the barbers for a job well done. Thursday came and I had work again at 12:00. At work my boss bought us chik- fil- a. I had an awesome boss. After work I felt something unusual. A mild pain starting from my lower back to the middle of my uterus. I ignored it. Abbey told me I had a call from my parents with some news. They were moving to Indiana in June. My dad found another job opportunity and wanted to move the family up there. I was worried I because I wasn't expected to deliver until September. My dad and I talked about it and I would stay here for the remainder of my pregnancy. I was scheduled to go visit my family on Saturday since its been a month. So I had that to look forward to. Later that night the pain continued and I went to bed early. I would soon undergo a traumatic event that would turn my life around.
