Chapter 14

Bay's POV:

*2 weeks later*

I opened my eyes and looked around my bedroom, I finally got out of the hospital. Emmett was sitting on a chair in my room, why was he here? I looked at the clock beside my bed, at 4:00am?!

I sat up and Emmett smiled at me.

Bay: "Emmett?...it's 4:00am!...what are you doing here?!"

Emmett: I was worried about you!...you didn't answer my texts

Bay: "why were you texting me this early?"

Emmett: Kathryn was in a car accident...she's in the hospital...I texted you and when you didn't answer, I panicked

Bay: "what?!"

I got up and started walking around the room, then before I knew it I was crying. Emmett walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me.

Bay: "is she ok? where is she?"

Emmett: she's going to be fine!...I'll take you to the hospital!...it's going to be ok!

Bay: "ok! let's go!...thank you Emmett!"

We got on Emmett's motorcycle and headed to the hospital. Once we got there I walked up to the front desk.

Bay: where's Kathryn Kennish?!....tell me where she is!"

front desk lady: excuse me, mam!...you are going to have to wait"

Bay: No!...I'm not going to wait! where is she?!

Emmett grabbed my wrist. Then John and Toby walked in.

John: she's with me!

front desk lady: ok then!

Emmett and I followed John and Toby into the hospital room, man it sucked to be back here. I saw Daphne and Regina sitting in chairs and Kathryn was in the hospital bed. She had cuts and bruises all over her face, slowly I walked up to the bed, Kathryn opened her eyes.

Kathryn: Bay!...your here!

Bay: " I am!"

I leaned down and hugged her, then I pulled back and looked at Regina and Daphne. They both got up and hugged me, then they sat back down. John and Toby started talking to Kathryn while I sat on Emmett's lap. Emmett wrapped his arms around me as I leaned my head on his chest.

*4 hours later*

I looked up at Emmett, I was getting tired. Then suddenly, I yawned.

Emmett: tired?

Bay: "ya...I'm really tired"

Emmett: you can fall asleep on me...I don't mind

Bay: "you sure?"

Emmett: yes!...it's ok!

I leaned my head back on his chest and slowly closed my eyes.

Emmett's POV:

I looked over at Toby who was watching Bay, I waved at him with my one hand and used the other one to hold Bay. He looked up at me and smiled.

Emmett: is Bay asleep?

Toby: "ya...she's passed out!"

Emmett: I'm getting tired too...is there anywhere I can put her?

Toby: "there is a extra guest room in the basement!...both of you can go rest!...I'll stay with Kathryn!"

Emmett: ok! thanks!

I got up while holding Bay and carried her downstairs into the basement. Once I got down there I laid her on the bed, she was still wearing her pajamas.
