Wrong Feelings

Chapter 18

Emmett's POV:

Bay: "Really Daphne?! Now?!"

Daphne: "Well, there is no perfect time and they are not going away!"

Emmett: I hope you know that whatever happens, you will always be my friend!

Daphne: "I know!...I just don't understand why all of a sudden you stopped liking me!"

Emmett: because I met Bay!...and I'm sorry that you suddenly have feelings for me but...I want you to really think about it...do you honestly like me?

Daphne: "Well, um...I...um...ya"

Bay: "Are you sure?...because I need to know that you are being serious!"

Emmett: exactly!...think about it!

Daphne: "Well, I guess...ya, I do...but I'm not sure the feelings I have for Emmett are that big"

Emmett: just let them slowly go away!

Daphne: "And if they don't?"

Bay: "Then we will figure it out!...like we said, are your feelings for Emmett that serious?"

Daphne: "Ok, I'll think about it!"

I grabbed Bay's hand and we went to her room, this morning sucked so far. Bay laid down on her bed and I sat down on the edge of the bed.

Bay: "Why can't life be easier?"

Emmett: it wouldn't be interesting if it was!

Bay: "Ya, sure!....why does Daphne have to make this a big deal?...and at the worst times!"

Emmett: is this really bothering you?...be honest

Bay: "just a bit"

Emmett: ok

Bay: "Ok what?"

Emmett: ok, I've had enough!...at first I thought it wasn't that bad, it was only bothering me...but now it's bothering you!...so I'm going to fix this!

Bay: "Well your not doing it alone!...we are both going to talk to her!"

Emmett: ok...but not now...this turned out to be a horrible morning

Bay: "Then let's make it better!...what do you want to do?"

Emmett: kiss you until you blush!

Bay: (laughs) "anything else?...we can get out of the house...I hate just staying home"

Emmett: want to go to the park?

Bay: "sure!"

We got up and got ready to go to the park, with the morning I've had all I want to do is stay with Bay. Once we got there we found a tree with a shade. Bay laid down under it, I smiled at her and sat down.

Bay: "your not going to lay down?"

Emmett: nah!...I'm fine!

Bay: "ok!"

Bay looked up at the sky, I wonder what she's thinking about. I really hope it's not the whole Daphne situation, I don't want that to effect Bay. I couldn't handle it anymore so I asked.

Emmett: are you thinking about the Daphne situation?...be honest

Bay: "yes, I am...it's hard not to...I mean, she's my "sister" and I really do care about her but...I love you!...and if she has feelings for you....we have to do something"

Emmett: I know!...but I really didn't want this to effect you!

Bay: "Emmett, as long as I'm your girlfriend, it effects me!...unless you have feelings for Daphne"

Emmett: I don't!...only for you!...I just don't want you to be stressed out and have to worry about anything

Bay: "that's sweet!...but it still effects me!...maybe you need to lay down"

Emmett: why do you want me to lay down with you so badly?

Bay: "I just want to lay down with you!...is that a problem?"

Emmett: no! of course not!

I laid down beside her, she immediately wrapped her arms around my waist. This was just what I needed, to have Bay in my arms. It was so peaceful, the sun was beating against my skin, the fresh smell of grass was in the air, the grass was soft and green, and I had Bay beside me. What a perfect moment.

We stayed there laying down for the next half an hour, it was great to just lay down. We packed up and went to my house, once we got home we realized that my mom wasn't home, so we went to my room. Bay sat on my bed with a sigh.

Emmett: something wrong?

Bay: "No...I just wish we didn't have to leave...I liked that we just got to lay down for a bit...and not worry about My family, Daphne or anything!"

Emmett: ya, I know!...but then we always have to get back to reality

Bay: "specking of reality!...my dad is having a family barbecue! wanna come?"

Emmett: extra time with you?...of course!

Bay: "great!...I'll let my dad know later!...it's tomorrow afternoon!"

Emmett: it's a date!

Bay smiled and toke out her phone, she started doing something. That's when it hit me, I should take Bay out on a real date. Yes, that's what I will do! it would help us get our mind off of the whole Daphne thing. But before I can ask her, I have to plan it. Bay looked up at me and smiled.

Bay: "You ok?...you look lost I thought....what were you thinking about?"

Emmett: nothing...really!

Bay: "ok, if you say so!"

Bay got up and kissed me.

Bay: "Are you hungry?"

Emmett: ya! you?

Bay: "starving!"

Emmett: then let's eat!

Then we both walked downstairs, hand-in-hand.
