Wrong Feelings

Chapter 21

Bay's POV:

Emmett didn't seem to have suspected anything, I knew my plan was going to work. I started painting, after a while I noticed it was getting late, in the afternoon of course.

Bay: "wow!...it's almost lunch time!...we should head inside"

Emmett: ok!...so, are you having a family dinner tonight?

Bay: "no, why?"

Emmett: because I want to take you out somewhere!

Bay: "really?...ok!...what time?"

Emmett: 8:30?

Bay: "it's a date!...literally!"

I turned to head out and saw Daphne standing at the doorway.

Bay: "Daphne!...what's up!"

Daphne: "I came to call you guys in for lunch"

Bay: "ok! thanks!...were coming!"

Daphne walked away, I turned to Emmett. He had a confused look on his face.

Bay: "what?...see, there's proff!...Daphne and I are 'cool' now!"

Emmett: alright!...if you say so!

We stayed in my art studio for a while until lunch was actually ready, I had a feelig it wasn't.

Daphne's POV:

A date? I don't think so. I walked into the kitchen and saw Kathryn cooking lunch.

Daphne: "hey!...so I was thinking, let's have a family dinner tonight!"

Kathryn: "what for?"

think.think.think. But nothing popped into my mind.

Daphne: "just for a family dinner!...we haven't had one in a while"

Kathryn:"ok! what time?"

Daphne: (smiles) "how about 8:00?"

Kathryn: "ok! but we will have to started eatig at sometime"

Daphne: "we will start at 8:00 to cook and at 8:30 we will eat!"

Kathryn: "sounds like a plan!"

Daphne: "Great!...you tell John and Toby, I'll tell Regina, Bay and Emmett!"

Kathry :"ok!"

I walked out of the kitchen and headed towards Bay's art studio, this was going to be good!
