Wrong Feelings

Chapter 17

Bay's POV:

Adriana: "I'll stay!"

Bay: "really?!"

Regina: "thank you!"

Daphne: "great!"

Kathryn: "now no one is moving!"

John: "good choice!"

Emmett: is it what you really want?

Adriana: "Yes!...I need my family much more than Florida!"

I ran up to Adriana and gave her a big hug! I really wanted her to stay, and now she was. After a few hours of talking telling Adriana how happy we were that she wasn't moving, we finally all left the living room. I went into my art studio with Emmett.

Bay: "I'm so happy she's staying!"

Emmett: Me too!

Bay: "I know it must seem like she's not that big of a deal, but she is...I don't know what would happen if I didn't have her"

Emmett: she is a big deal, she's your grandmother...and if she ever leaves, I'll be there for you!

Bay: "Thanks!"

Emmett: would your parents be ok with me spending the night?

Bay: "Ya, they should be"

Emmett: good!

I walked closer to Emmett and hugged him. It was good to know that I have him around, he means alot to me. We spent the rest of the night just spending time together, eventually we asked my parents if Emmett could spend the night, and they said yes. I changed into my pajamas and Toby lent some clothes to Emmett and we ended up laying on my couch in my art studio.

Bay: "You know...we still have to figure out what we're going to do with the whole "Daphne" situation"

Emmett: I know, I'm sure she'll be over me soon!

Bay: "If she likes you, well it's hard to get over you"

Emmett: I think she's just scared that she'll lose me as a friend...I'm sure it's nothing, but if it isn't...you know that I love you!

Bay: "I know, I love you too!"

I rested my head on Emmett's chest and slowly closed my eyes.

*morning*

I woke up and saw Emmett asleep, so I slowly started getting up. I accidentally slipped and fell off the couch, which woke up Emmett.

Emmett: Are you ok?!

Bay: "Ya, I'm fine"

I got up and sat on the couch, Emmett was now sitting too.

Emmett: good morning!

Bay: "Good morning!...did you sleep well?"

Emmett: ya!

Bay: "I bet Kathryn is making breakfast!...are you hungry?"

Emmett: I'm starving!

Bay: "sure!...come on! let's go eat!"

We went to the kitchen where everyone was sitting at the table, except for Kathryn who was making breakfast.  I walked up to Kathryn with Emmett following behind me.

Bay: "Hey!...what's for breakfast?"

Kathryn: "Well, we are having the classic eggs and bacon!"

Emmett: sounds good!

Kathryn: "Well they are almost done! you two can sit at the table with everyone else!"

We smiled and walked to the table and sat down next to each other. Soon Kathryn served us our food and we all ate. Then everyone was quiet, until John broke the silence.

John: "I have to go to work today! I'll be back soon!"

He got up and put his dishes away, soon Toby and Kathryn finished, then Daphne, Emmett and I. When we finished putting our plates away Daphne tapped Emmett on the shoulder.

Daphne: can we talk?

Emmett: what's wrong now?

Daphne: nothing...just, I need to talk to you about something

Bay: "Hi, I know sign language!...why do you need to talk to him?"

Daphne: "Just to talk! nothing else!"

Bay: "Well, what do you need to"talk" about?"

Emmett: just say it!

Daphne: "I still have feelings for Emmett!
