Chapter 22

Bay's POV:

Daphne walked back into the studio.

Daphne: "I have news"

Bay: "what's up?"

Daphne: "Kathryn just told me that she planned a family dinner tonight!...Emmett, your welcome to join us!"

Bay: "what?!"

Emmett: she never said anything before!...this is sudden!

Daphne: "ya well, it's what's happening!"

Daphne left with a smile, something seemed off. Emmett turned to me.

Emmett: that was sudden...and it didn't seem like Kathryn, what do you think?

I had to stick to the plan.

Bay: "I think that maybe Kathryn made some last minute plans and invited you because she feels your family because your dating me!"

Emmett: ok...sorry I asked

Bay: "it's fine!...I just...just...I...need to get ready for the dinner tonight, maybe we can go out another night?"

Emmett: ya, of course!

I knew that this wasn't really Kathryn's plan, but whoever it was is ruining my plans with Bay, and I was not going to let them get away with that.
