rain.

as always.

it's never sunny where i am. you could see it from a plane's window, it's just cloud.

i'm late again at the animal shelter. the pomeranians are barking at the door again, and to think i wouldn't get a headache from fifty african grey parrots squawking in my face even though i only had five hours of sleep last night.

oh well.

that's life.

i set my vanilla coloured bag beside the larger hamster cage. it was funny; you would think this place would smell like barf and used litter boxes, but because of the joint pet shop behind the silver door and animal sensitive disinfectants it's actually a nice aura to stay in.

that is, until he comes back from the counter.

ugh.

"don't start waltzing into my shop like a pretty princess just because i'm not around. you're late again, and thanks to you i've had a bunch of customers yelling at me for getting the wrong animal. and now for that, you're working a double night shift."

"what? but i've been filling in for taehyung this whole week! can't you just-"

"no excuses! and if you're that upset, why don't you fix up your timetable and get in here on time!"

i rolled my eyes and went over to the play area, picking up ailee's jingle ball. ailee was a baby red panda who escaped from a torture zoo. taehyung found her in an alleyway downtown and gave her a temporary home here.

she's too cute.

the clock on the azure wall struck 3:27 pm.

pitter patter pitter patter.

that's how the rain went.

rain.
