the most beautiful moment in life.

"yoongi! i'm dropping everything! wait for me at least!"

"agh! jina hurry up it's closing soon. here, let me help you," he said and bent down, picking up my tickets and honey butter chips from the cloud. "silly girl, come. let's go. they're all waiting for you."

i snaked my arm around his and held on tight, careful not to miss a step. neither of us were soaking wet despite the heavy rain pouring from the heavens around us; yoongi's little aqueon sorcery or whatever kept us dry.

my vocab needs improving ugh.

those extra classes back at high school were to no help at all.

eh.

opening a door he pulled out a pearl from his pocket and handed it over to me. "don't eat it, jina."

"why would i eat a freaking p-"

"just don't eat it."

"o-okay."

right. not weird at all.

we arrived at some sort of junction, separating four causeway-like roads that led to different worlds. two guards allowed us to enter through the road for aqueons, from what yoongi had told me. i wasn't very aware of what this place was, but he explained that wherever i was heading off to was something worthwhile.

a tall, giant shard of glass stuck out in the open sea of clouds. stars were painted across the sunset sky with huge cumulonimbus clouds towering over the field.

breathtaking.

before he and i walked through the hall of the glass tower yoongi placed a soft kiss on my right cheek, leaning his head on my shoulder.

"i'm sorry. nervous, that's all. hope you don't mind, dewdrop."

i smiled and ruffled his hair lightly, "yoongs, it's okay. come on in, i want to see what this place is."

he showed me around the foundation of the building, and even if that wasn't enough to spark up my eyes the woman who regally poised herself up on the front stage definitely did the job.

"she's empress hanji," yoongi whispered in my ear, lightly pushing me towards her. "she's nice. just say hello and take a bow."

i followed his action, earning a grateful smile from the empress.

"congratulations, aqueon min yoongi. you have concluded your rain cycle. this human is all yours as a high reward," she announced, turning her gaze on me. "young park jina, please take care of your aqueon. from this day forward after your ceremony you will be united as each other's cloud. i assume yoongi has given you a pearl?"

"yes."

"wonderful. drop it in this fountain, then drink the water. that way you can cross through from earth to here without the need of yoongi's powers."

several hours passed.

my yoongi sat beside me.

his cold fingers brushed against mine. the crimson glow of the sun's evening light touched his mint hair.

"you're here, jina."

"i am, yoongi."

"dewdrop?"

"hm?"

"never let me go, okay?"

"never, my yoongi."

the most beautiful moment in life.
