My grandma makes some delicious Turkey
And my favorite dessert cheesecake which I love absolutely!
She smiles at my silliness as I run around the house,
Happily dancing and singing to my favorite song.
Every time I fall, she picks me up,
Don't worry my child, she says and gives me a doughnut glazed with maple syrup.
Praying with her makes my day,
On Sundays we play and I show her my ballet.
Time passes so quickly when I'm with her,
An exciting adventure.
The pictures of us are hung around our house,
On the cupboards, the walls, and inside our very own boathouse.
Every time I think about her, tears well up in my eyes,
She smiles at me and says, "My little baby, I'm right here, it's going to be alright."
