It was finally a Saturday morning. I woke up a little early to make sure I had everything packed that needed to get packed. Walking into the kitchen to make some breakfast, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out and smiled as I looked down to see her name.

"Hey," she texted me, "do I need to bring a swimsuit?" I smiled bigger at the sight of her in a swimsuit.

"Yeah, definitely :)" I texted back and then put my phone down and made myself something to eat.

I was done eating and on my way down to my car, when my phone vibrated again. I checked it and it was my mother, she was calling me.

"Hello, Mother." I answered bringing the phone to my ear and putting my stuff in the trunk.

"Hey, Richard, darling. When are you going to arrive here?" She asked.

"Um, I don't know. I'm on my way to pick Kate up right now so I'll call you or text you when we are close." I said getting into the car and starting it up.

"Okay, darling. Sounds good." She said and hung up. Before I left I made sure to text Kate I was on the way and then drove off to her house.

I arrived at her house, parking and turning off the car in her driveway and getting out. Once I got up to her door, I knocked just in case Jim was sleeping. Within seconds it opened to my beautiful, stunning, and flawless girlfriend.

"Hey." I greeted and could help but smile.

"Hey." She said back. We stood there for a moment, getting lost into each other's eyes, in silence.

"So, you ready?" I asked finally.

"Um, yeah. Let me just grab my stuff and say goodbye to my dad and we can leave." She walked over to the bottom of the stairs and yelled up them. "Dad, I'm leaving!" She turned to me and smiled then Jim came walking down the stairs with only his robe on and bed hair.

"Have fun, Katie. I love you." Jim whispered in her ear when they hugged.

"Love you too." She said into his ear then they pulled away. "Please, be safe and don't do anything stupid." She said grabbing her bags.

I quickly walked out of the doorway and grabbed them for her. As I grabbed them she looked at me and smiled then back to her dad.

"Don't worry. I will be fine, trust me. But you two, don't you do anything stupid either." Jim said looking at both of us. We looked at each other and smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll take good care of her." I said still looking at her and smiling. Jim nodded and we walked towards the door.

"Have fun." Jim called after us, waving, standing in the doorway. I walked to the trunk, popping it open then setting her stuff in it and closing it. I turned to her and smiled.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Nope." She smirked at me and I knew exactly what she was saying. I put my arms around her waist and her arms wrapped around my heck. She pulled me towards her, landing my lips on hers. I felt her smile into the kiss and then we jumped apart and sound of Jim's voice.

"Okay, that's enough!" He called out. We looked at him then back at each other and laughed getting into the car.

We arrived at the house a little after noon, Kate was sleeping when I pulled in. I parked the car and got out to go to her side of the car, opening the door and leaning down so my lips touched hers. Within seconds she responded and put her hands up to my cheeks. We pulled away both smiling.

"Were here." I said quietly.

"Mmm, that was a good way to wake me up." She said totally ignoring what I said.

"You like that?" I asked.

"Yes, I do." She answered with a smile and got out of the car. I popped the trunk and grabbed our bags out and walked over to a frozen Kate.

"Kate?" I asked. She was looking at the house not saying anything with an amazing look on her face.

"You own this?" She asked with a nod towards the house.

"Um, yeah." I said. Her eyebrows raised.

"This is huge!" She said finally turning to me.

"I know, wait till you get inside. Come on." I said and walked up the pathway to the door.

My mother greeted us at the door, arms flailing dramatically and give us each a huge hug. Kate's face was still like it was outside, it was kinda cute, until we got up to our bedrooms.

"Okay, here's yours." I said putting down her suitcase and then walking to mine which was right next door, she followed. "And here's mine." I put my suitcase down and turned to her. She was frowning.

"What if I want to sleep with you?" She asked. I let out a chuckle and walked towards her, putting my arms around her waist.

"You can, I just gave you your own room just in case. And my mother..." I trailed of. She picked right off of it and nodded.

"Ah, I get it. Mine did that too." She said, smiling. She wrapped her arms around my neck, locking her fingers in the back, and pulled me down to her. Our lips collided gently, moving slowly against each other. Kate's arms disappeared from my neck and slid to my chest. Slowing down, I pulled away.

"Let me give you a tour." I said and she nodded. Taking my hand in hers I led her around the house.

The tour ended on the porch looking out at the beach.

"It's beautiful." Kate said leaning into my arm.

"I know right." I said. And there it was, I was waiting for her to do that.

"You guys are so cute." My mother said making both of us jump, even though I knew it was coming. She joined us, looking out at the beach and how the sun shone on it so perfectly. "If you guys are hungry I made some late lunch early dinner." She said breaking the silence.

"Yeah, sure. What is it?" I asked.

"Mac n' cheese and hotdogs." She said shyly. I laughed.

"What are we going back to 6th grade." I said winking at her. She let out a laugh.

"Ha ha. No I didn't know what you two liked so I just made what most people like." She said.

"It's fine, Mother, we will eat it." I said and walked Kate into the kitchen.

"This place is really nice." Kate said looking around.

"Yeah, I know. Guess what?" I asked excitedly. She snapped her head towards me.

"Hmm?" She hummed.

"We are gonna go out for a walk on the beach later tonight then we are going to go swimming in the pool." I said. I saw her face light up.

"Ooo, really?" She said with a huge smile.

"Yup." I said handing her her plate and we ate.
