With my arm strung around Karen,  I get a boost of confidence. If a girl can do it, I definitely can.

We walk farther along the hall, eliminated by a light down the cavern. It was along walk. Every step we took, every movement and breath was cut short. Finally Karen spoke.

"We need to continue to walk for another five steps, all you need to do is trust me...and close your eyes. That might be helpful."

With out a question I shut my eyes and hope for the best. Karen walks and I walk along her, still with my hand around her, letting her guide me, hopefully not to my doom.

I count five steps when a blinding light overtakes my closed vision. I get the feeling we are in the presence of someone. My theory is confirmed when I feel six cold hands on my back. They slowly peel away and I feel heat return to the foreign hands laid.

A cool air brushes my ear.

"Are you scared? Are you worried that your father will never love you the same way now you know the true you? Don't be scared, don't be sad lit-." The voice fades into shaking laughter.
" I can't, just can't" the voice wheezes out. I hear light laughter next to me.

"You can open your eyes." A feminine voice replied. This voice sounded of a leader, strong and demanding.

"We should get them to Kate." A minister voice mustered as I opened my eyes. I was greeted with three woman. One rather plump and reminded me of a fairy, there was a skinny one with withering black hair and tainted silver skin, the next one was short and had large eyes and bangs that covered most of her eyes. There was only one thing of about their looks that scared me. They all looked dead. The plumped up one had  gold hair falling out of her head and is waring a night dress from the 1800's. The skinny one had shriveled skin and looked like prune with a dress on. It was navy blue and was a turtleneck made of velvet and had jewels cascading down the front. It most definitely looked like a costly dress from...1800's. I layed eyes on the smaller girl, she was wearing a simple brown smock and no shoes. She has a small purple shriveled up flower tucked behind her long brown locks. She looked less dead then the others but dead nonetheless.

"This is Love," The short one raised her hand weakly,"Luxury," The black hair one with the shriveled face raised her hand,"and last but not least... Life." Karen spoke in a trance like way.

Love stepped forward. Her raised her hand slowly up towards my face. You can see the bone a tissue but no vain in site. Her hand gently caressed my cheeks sending chills down my spine. She examined my face slowly. Taking in every freckle, dimish, and hair with solow calculation. "Your blood rate is low. Time to get you home."

These words trike fear into me. Home? What is home. A place of permanent residence or a place where you feel welcome and happy.

Love takes my hand and drags me forward. I still have my arm wrapped around Karen. The movement provokes her to move. Love stops and stares at me. "Remove your arm are you will have no arm later to wrap around frivolous girls you take for granted."

I move my away from Karen slowly to dodge further punishment. The second my arms released their grip a tension broke. The air now seems less charged and as if someone cracked a dam holding built up energy.

I look up to Karen to see color and relief wash over her. I know it is amazing to have me shirt less, and to have my arm wrapped around waist but I never thought it could that... awful.
