"So you haven't noticed anything different about Hollie?" Kidd asked Kelly as she brought drinks over to the squad table.
"Like what?" Kelly asked. Hollie laughed and reached for her drink with her left hand.
"Nothing, okay." Kidd shrugged, trying not to laugh, before turning and heading back to the bar.
"What's she on about?" Cruz asked.
"Mouse proposed." Hollie stated, placing her drink back down, the ring on show.
"You had that on all shift?" Kelly asked.
"Yep." Hollie said laughing. "I did try and hide it but your girls too good." She joked.
"Hey." Mouse Said, walking up behind Hollie and wrapping his arms around her neck, making her jump slightly.
"Congrats." Kelly Said.
"You told them?" Mouse asked.
"Yeah, what about Jay?" Hollie asked.
"He doesn't know, Erin does though." Mouse explained.
"I'll see you guys later." Hollie Said, standing up and heading towards the table both her brothers were sat at with their girlfriends. "Hey." She Said, sitting in a chair to the right of Erin.
"Let me see it then." Erin Said, not able to keep it a secret.
"See what?" Will asked, Jay just glancing at Mouse with a smile.

Eventually the news of the engagement had spread around the bar and the couple were flooded with Congratulations. They were still sat at the table just slightly moved around so that Mouse could sit.
"Hollie..." Erin Said. "I don't know how they've done this but you might want to sneak out." Hollie turned in her seat to look towards the door where two familiar figures had walked in.
"Crap." Hollie muttered.
"What's going on?" Will asked the question that everyone minus Erin and Hollie wanted to know the answer to.
"Get her out of here." Erin told Jay as she stood up and walked towards the two women. "Bunny, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Looking for Hollie." The woman next to her stated.
"Well, like I told Bunny, I don't know her." Erin Said.
"Is everything okay?" Stella Asked from behind the bar.
"I think you should go." Erin Said.
"This is not over." Bunny warned as they left.
"What was that about?" Stella Asked, as Erin turned to look for Hollie.
"Family drama." Erin Said. "Did you see where Hollie went?"
"Halstead." Kidd said.
"Hey." Hollie Said with a smile as she popped up from behind the bar. "What did they want?"
"Looking for you again." Erin Said as Hollie walked back around.
"How did they know I would be here?" Hollie asked.
"God knows." Erin Said as they walked back over to the table.
"Now do we get to know what that was about?" Will asked again, his concern for his little sister growing.
"Yeah, what did Bunny want?" Jay asked.
"They we're looking for Hollie." Erin explained.
"Why?" Mouse asked, his concern also growing.
"That was my mum." Hollie stated, reaching for her drink. "She looks the exact same as when I last saw her." Hollie said to Erin.
"How long ago was that?" Will asked.
"Eight almost nine years ago." Hollie shrugged.
"You know I actually recognise your mum, her names Shelly right?" Erin Asked.
"Yeah, Michelle." Hollie Said. "I'm gonna head off, you think they'll have gone?"
"They will have." Erin Said.
"I'll come with you." Mouse Said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"I won't push you but I'm here if you want to talk." Mouse Said as they walked into her apartment. Hollie had barely spoken on the drive back.
"Not tonight, I'm just gonna go to bed." Hollie Said, her eyes glancing at Mouse, he couldn't help but think they looked like the eyes of a scared child.
"I'll be there in a minute." Mouse Said, reaching for her hand and squeezing it lightly.

"Hollie hunny, come here." Shelly slurred.
"What do you want?" A 14 year old Hollie asked slightly sassily as she walked from her room into the living room.
"Tell Detective Voight here that I was home yesterday." She slurred.
"She was." Hollie lied.
"You are aware that if I find out either of you are lying then you could both end up in prison?" Voight Asked.
"Well we're not lying are we darling." Shelly Said, Hollie shook her head with hesitation.
"We're not." Hollie Said.

"Hi, Hollie right? Is your mum in?" Voight Asked.
"Um... yeah." She hesitated, opening the door more to let him in.
"Officers, take her down to the station." Voight ordered, once the two officers had left with a high Shelly it left Voight and Hollie stood in the hallway.
"What is this about?" Hollie asked.
"Your Mum was at the scene of a shooting and then she ran from the scene when the cops showed. Then you both lied about it." Voight explained.
"What if I could get you info about it? Would you let my mum go?" Hollie asked.
"Depends on what you know." Voight Said.
"My boyfriend runs with the same gang and I bet he knows something." Hollie offered.
"You've got three hours." He Said, pulling out his card and placing it on the table. "I don't see why your doing this, you would be better off in the system.

"Hey." Mouse Said as Hollie slowly opened her eyes, "You okay? You were tossing and turning a bit."
"Seeing mums just brought back a few memories." Hollie Said, snuggling into her fiancé's side.
"You want to talk about it?" Mouse asked.
"There's not really much to talk about. She was always either high or drunk, often both. She got herself into trouble a few times." She proceeded to tell him about the time she had just dreamt about.
"What did you do?" Mouse asked.
"Got the info from Jason and got her out." Hollie Said. "She was bad enough but she always told me the system was worse." She paused. "Let's go back to sleep, you've got work tomorrow."
"Okay." Mouse Said, knowing she wouldn't get much more sleep.

"What are you doing today?" Mouse asked as he got ready for work.
"I'm just gonna chill." Hollie Said, laying on the sofa.
"I'll see you tonight." Mouse said leaning over the back and placing a kiss on her lips.
"See you later." Hollie Said as he left. As soon as the door closed she was up and getting dressed, a plan forming in her head. Once she was changed she rushed down to her car and drove to a place she never hoped to go back to.

"Hello?" A young girl answered the door to the house Hollie though belonged to her mum.
"Sorry, I must have the wrong house, does Shelly still live here?" She asked, honestly she didn't know why she still asked something just felt off.
"Um... yeah." The girl said. "Mum! Someone wants to talk to you!" The girl shouted.
"Tell them to come back later." Shellys voice was heard.
"No chance." Hollie shouted to her before walking in past the girl, wanting to know what the hell was going on.
