"Hey, Bodens just told me what happened." Hollie said, rushing into Amelia's room. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." Amelia said, hugging Hollie.

"How much did Boden tell you?" Erin asked.

"The basics, I figured the rest out for myself." Hollie said. "That bastard." Hollie muttered, looking to the ceiling to try and control her tears.

"Look, I'm staying with Mia until its all sorted anyway so if you want to call Mouse you can." Erin said with a sympathetic smile.

"I might later." Hollie said with a nod. "But for now, I'm good here." She said, squeezing Amelia's good hand.

"What's going on out there?" Erin asked, noticing the growing number of firefighters growing outside.

"Something happened to Kidd, I'm not 100% sure but it didn't look good." Hollie said.

"Mr and Mrs Sanders?" Will said, stepping into the treatment room.

"Is everything okay doctor?" Mrs Sanders asked, taking her son's hand.

"Actually, I'm not here as a doctor. You see, my little sister was also in the fire." Will said.

"Amelia?" Josh cut him off, looking hopefully at the doctor, Will nodded. "That's the girl I was telling you about! The one who knew what to do!" Josh told his parents.

"I've spoken to her and she is extremely eager to meet you." Will said.

"Please dad!" Josh said.

"I don't see why not." Mr Sanders said with a nod. "From what Josh's told us she sounds like a good kid."

"She wasn't dealt the best cards but she's making it work." Will said, with a sad smile as the realisation of what his dad had done swept over him. "Let me go get her." He said, excusing himself and heading towards Amelia's room. "Guess who I've just met." He said.

"Josh!" Amelia said happily.

"You want to go see him?" Will asked, removing the nasal cannula.

"Yay!" Amelia said, jumping to her feet.

"Will you two be alright with her? I'm just gonna call Mouse." Hollie said, kissing Amelia's head.

"We'll be fine." Erin assured her.

"Come on then." Will said, helping Amelia off the bed. "Mr and Mrs Sanders." Will said knocking on the door.

"You must be Amelia." Mrs Sanders said with a warm smile, Amelia took a few shy steps back towards Erin.

"Go talk to Josh." Erin said, ruffling her hair, Amelia walked over to Josh's bed and sat on the end. The adults watched as a few seconds later they were talking like they'd known each other forever.

"Looks like we'll be seeing a lot of each other." Mr Sanders Joked.

"So you can stop with the Mr and Mrs Sanders, I'm June and this is Andy." Mrs Sanders said.

"Will Halstead, as I mentioned earlier I'm Amelia's brother and this is Erin Lindsay, our older brothers fiancee." Will introduced.

"Are your parents not here with the little one?" June asked.

"It's complicated, Amelia lives with our other sister, Hollie, and her fiance." Will explained.

"Josh said she knew exactly what to do, is it a class at her school? We're having to relocate anyway so we were going to ask what school she goes to so he knows someone." Mr Sanders explained.

"Mia'll probably know what to do in most situations, my fiance's a cop and Hollies a firefighter." Erin said. "As for school she goes to Pine Hills elementary, there was a situation there a few months ago but they've really upped the security."

"We will definitely look into it." Mrs Sanders said with a nod. "Josh won't stop talking about how the firefighter got him out, they went out of the window, on the twentieth floor!" She said, overhearing part of the childrens conversation.

"The firefighters Hollie work with are probably the best I've ever met, he would've been safe the whole time." Erin said.

"I need to go, it was nice meeting you both." Will excused himself as his pager went off.

"If you need to go back to work or anything we're happy to keep an eye on Amelia." June offered to Erin.

"Actually, I need to be here." Erin said, showing them her detective badge she had hidden under her coat. "Amelia was kidnapped and left in that building, so until they find him she's stuck with me." Erin explained as they both looked at her confused.

"That poor kid." June said, looking over at them.

"At least she's got someone she knows, not just a random person." Andy said with a kind smile.

"Hey." Hollie said, knocking on the door.

"June and Andy, this is Amelia and Will's other sister Hollie. Hollie these are Josh's parents." Erin quickly introduced.

"The firefighter, I heard you have a lot to do with our son still being here." June said.

"Your sister told our son what to do and basically saved his life." Andy explained when Hollie looked at them confused.

"Amelia comes to the firehouse every day after school I guess she picked some things up." Hollie said, looking over at the two kids who were still happily chatting.

"Could we talk to the firefighter who got Josh out? This is the first time he hasn't been talking about going out of the window." June asked.

"Now's probably not the best time, his girlfriends being taken into surgery to have her lung removed which means she won't be able to continue being a firefighter but as soon as she's out of the woods I will bring him over." Hollie explained.

"Our thoughts are with him and his girlfriend." Andy said with a nod. "It's the least we can do after he saved out boy." He added.

"Thank you." Hollie said.

"What did Mouse say?" Erin asked Hollie.

"They still haven't found him but he kept assuring me they will." Hollie said.

"They will." Erin said.

"Do they know who kidnapped her?" June asked.

"Our father." Hollie said. "He applied for full custody not too long ago ut the judge denied any access so he took matters into his own hands." She explained.

"Did he start the fire as well?" Andy asked.

"It doesn't look like it." Hollie said. "The fire started on the twentieth floor, he was on the twenty-fifth." She added.
