Rick approaches Daryl wearily, hoping today was a good day. "Daryl, I've got something for you." Daryl looked up slowly, not wanting to talk much today. Rick was holding a piece of paper, and Daryl noticed it had some writing on and a picture. "Judith made it with Michonne..She wanted you to have it. Michonne clearly wrote it for her." Rick chuckled slightly. Daryl reached up and took it gently.

The writing said;

"To Auntie Y/N, I miss you a lot. Daddy said you were with Carl and looking after him. I hope you like the picture of you and Uncle Daryl. Love, Judith."

Daryl's eyes filled up with tears and he took a deep breath, looking to see a picture of what was labelled as being "Auntie Y/N and Uncle Daryl". They were holding hands, but Y/N had angel wings. Daryl stood up, and let himself collapse into sobs. Rick hugged him, feeling so much sympathy for the man who's walls had never broke this much before. "It's gonna be okay, brother. She knew how much you loved her."

Daryl slowly approached the grave, seeing Maggie sat with baby Hershel in front of it. "And this was Auntie Y/N. She was very pretty wasn't she? Yes she was.." Maggie trailed off at the end. Daryl sees that her grave has pretty cherokee rose's all around it. Maggie stands up, and turns around to see him. She sends him a genuine sympathetic smile, before leaving with Hershel.

Daryl sits next to the grave, taking the polaroid picture of Y/N into his hands. "You were so beautiful." He mumbles, his voice shaking. Y/N was grinning in the picture, her H/C hair flowing wildly around her face. Her cheeks with pink, the glistening red fire in the background.

 Beth had taken the picture, after she had found Glenn's polaroid camera in the prison. She had told Y/N a joke, which led to them all laughing and Beth snapping multiple photos of the girl. This was Daryl's ultimate favourite though. Despite Y/N constantly complaining to Daryl about it, and saying it was ugly, Daryl never got rid of it. He knew she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and would ever see; even if she never saw it.

"It's been three weeks Y/N. Why did you have to go and see those saviours with no one else around.." Daryl whispers to the picture. "I'm sorry this is the first time I've properly come to talk to you..I just couldn't face it...I couldn't face that you're alone, under all that dirt whilst I'm up here alone too. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." Daryl began to cry, but he didn't care at this moment. He had to get this out. "It's okay now. I don't have to worry anymore. You're safe now...I'm never gonna forget you, or any of the times we had together..."

"You know what Dixon, you need some positivity in your system." Y/N grinned,  grabbing her boyfriends hand and pulling him into the store. "What're you going' on about?" Daryl asked, with genuine confusion. Y/N grabbed a bottle of alcohol that was called "Positivity" and turned to him. Daryl just stared at it, looking disappointed. Whereas, Y/N burst into laughter. "I mean I thought it was funny..."

"Daryl I've got a surprise!!" Y/N smiles. "What is it girl?" Daryl replies, carving knives. "Happy Birthday!" She beams, holding a birthday cake with lit candles in front of his face. "How'd you know?" Daryl smiles slightly. "I have my ways. Happy birthday baby!"

"Daryl...it's positive." Y/N whispers. Daryl's face lights up as he gazes at his wife's stomach. "Hello, little ass kicker.." He mumbles, pressing a kiss to her stomach.

"Daryl! Be careful with her!" Y/N shouts from the porch with a smile. "Faster, daddy!" Little April yells, bursting into laughter when her father runs quicker. "This is perfect." Y/N whispers.

"Daryl..it's come back." Y/N cries. "It can't have. No!" Daryl yells angrily. "I'm sorry." Y/N sobs. Daryl holds his wife in his arms, unable to control his emotions as he cries in agony.

"I love you baby. You take care of our girl okay?" Y/N smiles softly. "Please don't go." Daryl mumbles, hopelessly. "I have too baby. You'll be okay, I promise. I'll keep an eye on you." Y/N hugs her husband, moving on to their now six year old daughter.

"She's gone Daryl."

"I know I shoulda told you all 'a this when you were here. I'm sorry I didn't...But I'm here now, baby. All the way."  Daryl kisses the photo softly.

"Daddy you're here!" April grins, running over and embracing her father in a hug. "I am, sweetheart." Daryl replies.

"And I aint ever leavin'."
