Ensiumlux

Intruduction

This is the story of the creation of the kingdom where I live, Reniastel.

The Gods made this land thousands of years ago. It was lonely with nothing but plants. But then one of them, Irina goddess of life, had a thought, "Why not make creatures?"

And so animals were born, masterless and free. But then, Rushagal king of the Gods, thought, "Why should Irina have all the fun?" And so he created elves to maintain peace, order, and control over the animals.

They lived peacefully with animals for 200 years. But Bawing, God of Fire, thought, "Elves are no fun. Too straight, too predictable. I can do better." And so were the dragons born. They were hunters, masters of the air, and free, not even elves could control them.

And so they were two big enemies that fought war over and over, until one little elf found a baby dragon and became friends and showed the rest they could work together for there were more creatures that could harm them, because Kestral, God of Death, grew bored of them and created evil creatures that destroyed everything.

The elves with their magic and the dragons with their strength made an alliance to retain peace by protecting each other.

But Irina thought things could be even more interesting and created humans. Smart but weak creatures. They were simple at the beginning but developed many things others didn't have, like curiousness, and influenced everyone else. Together with the elves they started building bigger and better cities to co-inhabit.

And so there was peace.

But then, a group of people started to want to share magic with elves, so they created their own ritual to gain the powers of controlling the elements. But something went horribly wrong and got engulfed by darkness creating a new kind of creature, Neo-creature, or Neo for short.

These Neos wanted more and more power, which they obtained by engulfing humans, elves, or dragons into the darkness.

These started another full out war which almost completely erased every being.

So Irina, as no other God cared, took over and manifested her power into 6 light blades or Ensiumlux.

She trusted it on humans who she saw a powerful heart and great potential and so 6 Knights came and gave hope to the races. But it still wasn't enough, so the elves and dragons made a sacrifice and sealed themselves with the Neos. Although the seal wasn't completed, by unknown reasons, and there are still Neos that escape and wreck havoc.

So the knights took responsibility to protect everyone and entrusted that work to their sons and daughters.

With the remaining humans they formed a new Kingdom where they could protect everyone. They appointed a fair king and to this day his linage is still in the throne.

With the 6 knights and the King, humanity has lived peacefully...

Or so they think.
