[Well it seems I'll have to take the story from here.]

Rendel just collapsed out of nowhere right after he looked really in pain. It made me jump scare when he hit the ground and I tried to wake him up, but he wouldn't move.

I was worried that he might get hurt if I left, but if I stayed I would get hurt too.

But, I didn't had to worry since the person in the orange armor began to talk to the creatures.

She said, "How dare you try and disrupt peace in this city?!" She sounded really angry.

"How? Easy! We were hungry so we came for food."

"Well then, I'll make this as painful as I can."

And with that she unsheathed her sword, which was orange much like on her armor, but with yellow details in the lower part (the pommel?) and the sheath. The blade was orange, but iridescent, with a faint glow.

The creatures hissed and attacked her with claws sharp as knives.

It was a somewhat fast battle.

The creatures aimed for the head, but they weren't fast enough and she blocked the three pair of claws with a swift movement of her sword, clashing the flat part against their wrists.

Then they changed strategy and went each for different parts.

She saw through this and blocked one and dogged the rest. Then she went on offensive.

Having stunned one of them she approached quickly and with a well placed stab pierced right through the chest. But instead of blood, the creature simply began disappearing like ashes into the air.

The other two, angry at her, went even wilder slashing and cutting and stabbing anything they could, but missed everything.

She then slashed one with a clean swipe and it burst into those floating ashes.

The last one, desperately tried to escape, but she caught up with it and with a swift strike destroyed it too.

She then looked around, saw me and Rendel, and approached. I kind of wanted to run, but my feet wouldn't move.

When she reached us she checked Rendel and asked, "Were you injured?" She sounded really worried.

"No," I said trying not to lose my voice.

She then put her hand on Rendel and said, "He'll be alright, he is just sleeping."

When isn't he? I thought.

But I was still glad nothing bad had happened.

"Jess!" I heard my father call. He was coming at us but stopped when he saw the Knight.

Then it came to me and I asked, "Are you a knight of the legends?"

She smiled and said, "That is for you to find out, and I hope I am able to witness it," and with that she left, jumping to the nearest roof with a lot of strength.

...

After the battle, the food table had been tossed either by the creatures or by the running crowd, the food was all around the floor, inedible, and the center decorations had fallen.

My father came close and asked if we were alright and tried to understand what happened. When I was explaining, Rendel's family arrived and when they saw him resting beside me they looked really relieved to see him alright.

......

We took him to their house where I stayed the night to help take care of him.

Serena is a doctor, the only woman doctor in town at that, she had great knowledge and experience treating different diseases, but she said she didn't find anything wrong with him, not a concussion or physical ailment, whatever it was, it was mental.
