Final Chapter

Kate's POV

Andito ako ngayon sa hallway habang hinihintay si Kuya Connor mula sa room nila

Naeexcite na akong malaman kung anong nangyari sa apology niya kay Bes. Nang makita ko si Kuya Connor ay dali-dali ko siyang nilapitan upang kamustahin siya sa mga nangyari

"Kuyaaa kamusta? Tinanggap ba ni Bes yung apology mo? Ano bati na ba kayo?" sunod-sunod kong tanong dahil sa sobrang excitement.

"Hayst" buntung hininga ni Kuya Connor

"Bakit kuya? Galit pa rin ba siya sayo?"

"Yes, seems like it will be hard for me to gain her forgiveness..."

"Susuko ka na ba?"

"Of course no! I'll do everything just to be forgiven by her"

"Are you inlove with my bestfriend?" I blurted out of the blue

"What?! What kind of question is that? Where do you get that idea huh?" sigaw niya at halatang gulat na gulat siya sa tanong ko    

"Well, it's just that napaka-effort mo these days para lang talaga mapatawad ka niya and if that wasn't love what is it then?" alam kong napaka-intriguing na tanong ko pero naeenjoy ko siya hahahahaha. After asking that question I can really how red my cousin's face was.

"Can you please stop asking that questions, it's so intimidating you know?"

"Okay~ sabi mo eh" this is the first time I saw my Cousin blush and it's kinda' fun.

Seems like, in their game, Artemis and Connor both lose.

Connor's POV

For my second plan in apologizing Artemis, I already bought the items I'll need. This time, I didn't ask for Kate's help since I want to do it in my own.

I'm not really into these things but when it comes to Artemis, seems like all of these things are just a piece of cake.

I'm still bothered by the questions Kate had thrown at me.

Is this really love?

Am I really inlove?

Artemis's POV

Kasalukuyan akong naglalakad sa Park na madadaanan pauwi sa amin. Napakadilim dito ngayon which is so unusual dahil napakaraming ilaw dito tuwing gabi.

Biglang lumiwanag ang paligid dahil nabuhay na ang mga ilaw dito sa Park and these lights are like giving me a pathway patungo sa Pergola.

Nasisilaw ako sa sobrang liwanag ng mga ilaw, ngunit may naaaninag akong isang pamilyar na pigura sa gitna ng Pergola.

Nang malapit ko ng marating ang Pergola ay nakilala ko na ang pamilyar na pigura, si Connor! Omg! Kinakabahan ako sa maaaring sunod mangyari!

"Artemis!" he called me out.

Ang ganda ng Pergola! Ito ay punong-puno ng mga Dekorasyon, mga kandila, mga bulaklak, mga ilaw, at kung anu-ano pa.

There I saw him standing, holding a bouquet of red roses and behind him was a huge banner saying 'I am very sorry Artemis'.

I felt my tears flowing through my cheeks. I can't explain the happiness I feel right now. Just a simple act he did earlier made me feel touched already.

He walked towards me and handed me the bouquet of red roses. Then he asked,

"Artemis Maxwell Leondale, will you forgive me?"

I felt that he said those words with whole sincerity.

"Yes! I already forgiven you earlier but I pretend I didn't just to test you"

I can really see the happiness drawn in his face, he suddenly hug me.

I'm hesitatin' if I'm going to hug him back but here I go, we ended up hugging each other.

"Can we go back to the way we used to be?" he asked while still hugging me.

"Nope!"  I answered

"Why?" he asked again

"Because we're not going back to the past, we're going  to write the new chapters of our life"

"Right!" he agreed

"And I'm going to continue my plan. I won't stop loving you 'til I make you mine" I whispered to myself

"Are you tellin' something?"

"Nope!"
