I Stand next to Harry as he Cooks
"So you said your Brother was in town?" I nod "Do you have any other Siblings?"
"Yea I have the one brother and two sisters."
He nods and asks how old they were
"So Maddie is 24, Mackinley, Mak as we call her is 21, And then Chase is 19"
"So you got a full house" He laughs and brings holds up a plate with dinner
"It looks delicious, Thank you" I say and follow him into the Living room
He tells me he will be right back and comes back into the Room with a bottle of red and White and two glasses He lifts them up to ask what one I want
"red please" He pours them and sits next to me
"So how old are you then?" He asks intrigued
"I am 22" He looks surprised
"Surprise" I laugh
"How the hell are you a doctor at 22?!?!!" He asks
"Long story, But uh the short answer is My dad Worked there so I uh interned young and Somehow made it to where I am today." I say while sipping the wine
"So I'm assuming you're from the USA?"
"I am indeed" I smile With eating the spaghetti
"This is Delicious by the way" I add on impressed with his cooking skills
"What made you come to England?" He questioned
"My Mom is an Architect and she got offered a Promotion and it happened to be here and she thought why the hell not"
"And your dad Is a Doctor?" He asks and I pause
"Yea he was" I say and you can see he realizes what I was about to say
"He passed away when I was 16. Only a week before my 17th birthday." I Smile Softly thinking about him and he gives me one back too
"I'm sorry" He says sincerely
"I get it, My mom passed away when I was 12" He sighs and looks down
"I'm sorry too I know it's not easy" I say and he agrees I decided to move onto a different topic
"So You Have one brother right?!?!" I say and that moves us along from that conversation
We spend hours talking and talking it was around midnight when we landed on a topic about Our favorite movies
"You've Never seen 'The Godfather' Really?" I say astounded
"I know sue me" he jokes back
"You've got to watch it" I say and he hands me the remote and I smile and quickly find the movie and put it on. He pours us some more wine and grabs a blanket and he puts his arm around me and we sit and watch the movie.
I Feel something shift under me and I adjust myself And I open my eyes to Harry getting Up
"Sorry did I wake you up" He says
"No you're fine" I say sitting up and looking at the time
"Oh shit" I see it was 3:00 am I Stand up and look at harry as he looked confused
"I have plans in the morning' I sigh "I need to get home" I Look at him
"I hope it's not another date with someone else" He jokes
"I'm actually going up to visit my mom and the rest of my siblings" I say specifically skipping over the Date part as it was late and I wasn't focusing on it
"Well let me drive you home." He says
"No Really I'm fine"
"Its 3 am you don't have a car," he argues back
"I can Uber" I playfully fire back
"At 3 am leaving Kensington? Yea that's a Great story for the ride home" He laughs
"Please It's the least I can do"
"It is 3 am you're not going to get home till 4 and You told me you have Plans tomorrow too"
"Fine but let me call you a Car"
"I'm not gonna get out of that am I?" He shakes his head
He calls and we wait for the car to arrive
"Thank you for tonight Harry, You impressed me with your cooking skills"
"Glad I could But No Really thank you for tonight Olivia I had a lot of fun" He looks down at his phone
"The cars almost here let me at least bring you to the gate." I agree He hands me my coat and Bag "It's kinda a long walk would you rather drive?" He asks me as we walk out the door
"I think it's pretty nice out So walking is fine" He leads the way and we arrive at the gate
"I probably shouldn't go through and be seen" He says and smiles sadly
"I don't know if I already told you but you look amazing" I Blush
"Thank you for tonight Harry Really It's been amazing"
A horn honks and we look at each other He Opens the gate and kisses my cheek
"Until next time Miss.Hampton. "
I Get into the Cab and Sigh
"Long night Miss?" The driver says
"You wouldn't know" I reply
"If you don't mind me asking, Why are you at the palace so late mam?" I freeze unsure as to what to say
"I know somebody who Lives there" i answer knowing Some Staff live there
"This may be overstepping But who?" He asks again
"A Friend" I answer and that stops the conversation
As we arrive to my apartment and I ask the driver How much it costs
"It was Pre Paid Mam"
"Excuse me?" I question confused
"Whoever you were visiting must've cared a lot about you" He says and I smile
"Well can I tip you?" I ask And he responds
"You Don't have to" He says but I oblige
I get out and walk up to my apartment entering quietly so I don't wake Chase up.
I get into the door and I Put my Bag down and smile I hear the TV is on and I assume he fell asleep on the couch until I hear
"You're home late young lady" and see Chase sitting on the couch
"And she's smiling so I assume her date went well" He continues
"It was not a date" I say and he rolls his eyes
"And why are you up Mister" I say plopping on the couch next to him. He hands me a cookie and I happily accept.
"I Decided to Finish watching this movie my friends and I were watching but eventually got distracted so I didn't see the end" He says while yawning I can smell the Alcohol on his breath
"Tell me you were responsible tonight" I say and he jokes back
"Same should go for you Hope you used protection" He laughs like its the funniest thing he has ever said
"Chase you are not funny."
"I think I am very funny... And for your information Ollie I was very responsible I didn't drink too much and I took a Cab home so My friends weren't driving" He smiles and yawns more
"Good job Bub" I smile and yawn too
"Lets get to bed we gotta leave early" I smile and pull him up and we head to bed
