Chapter Thirteen

(Hi all you better love me because I wrote this whole chapter then accidentally Deleted it and Had to rewrite the whole thing)

"Thank you for tonight really, I had a lot of fun" He smiles back at me
"I had a lot of fun too Liv, I'll have to take you back to paradise to try their food sometimes. It's to die for"

"Okay, It must be good if you'd die for it" I laugh and he does too
"I should probably go" He says and I agree

He leans in to kiss me and I turn my head so his lips collide with my cheek instead. He backs away and Looks at me Confused and then mumbles a quick goodbye and couldn't get out of here fast enough.

I quickly unlock my door and start saying out loud too myself
"He went to kiss you and you turned away, What the hell were you thinking Liv"
I set my stuff down and turn the lights on I see someone lying on my couch and I shriek.

Quickly after The inaudible voice leaves my mouth The figure on my couch quickly sits up and I relax as I see who it was.

"I'm so sorry Ollie,"
'It's okay Mak" I interrupt her
She sits up and I come face to face with Red eyes and a puffy face.

"Hey, Whats wrong?" I ask and sit next to her

"Ummm Maddie and I had a fight and I didn't know where to go.
I had to get out of there, out of that town, And I didn't feel like calling my friends as they wouldn't understand. You were the first Person to come to mind and I still have your spare key and My phone died so I couldn't contact you so I just let myself in. I'm sorry" She says tears slowly prickling down her face, and I give her a soft smile

"Don't be, there is a reason you're one of the only people to have a spare key.
If you don't mind me asking what was the fight about?"

"I honestly don't remember how it started, But it ended with Yelling something along the lines of "You Left Me when I needed you the most, you left mom, You left all of us. Instead of facing your problems and dealing with dads death you ran away and left us there to clean it up."
And then Maddie saying that "She was glad she left" and so on and so forth,"

I give her a sad smile and she gave me one back
"And so I just couldn't stay"

"I get it, I'm sorry"

"So He tried to kiss you and you didn't let him" I give her a small chuckle
"Was he at least cute?"

"He's cute" I sigh and slouch back next to her and run my hands through my hair
"So why didn't you let him kiss you?" She asks and I say in my head 'That is a very good question' But something else came out my mouth instead

"It wouldn't work even if I wanted it to." Mak raises her eyebrows intrigued

"Is he a co-worker?" I stay silent but shake my head
"Your best friend?
Your best friends brother?
Is he famous?"
She keeps going as I have stopped answering

"You're gonna give me nothing?"
"I think we should go to bed" I say and she nods her head

"You can go sleep in the guest bedroom instead it's probably more comfortable.
I also have work early so I'll probably be gone when you wake, but stay as long as you want"

I spend the rest of the night lying awake thinking of everything.

I woke early and went to work Two of my patients cancelled one for surgery, one since they were going home today. I got to leave early so Now I was walking up to my apartment to get some homework done. It was 5:00 now

I walk in and am immediately met with the Smell of food.
I put my stuff down and walk into the kitchen to see Mak cooking.

"Liv, How was work?"
"It was good, Shift ended early. This smells delicious by the way"

"I tried calling you but you didn't answer. I wanted to cook you something to say thank you for just letting me show up and stay. So I went with Tacos because who doesn't like Tacos?"

"You're right who doesn't like tacos?" I laugh

"I Just started so they'll be ready in like 45 mins"
I nod and tell her I'm gonna go catch up on some homework while we wait and she acknowledges me and I thank her.

I go and start on my homework and the time passes by in a blur as before I know it Mak Is telling me that dinner was finished. I walk out changed out of my work clothes and see she had set dinner up in the living room.

"You out did yourself this time, Mak"
"Well, I did kinda randomly show up and broke into your house." We both laugh
"I don't think Its breaking in as you had a key" She agrees and we sit down and she puts the gossip channel on TV

"Why are the Kardashians even popular?" I ask as Kim Kardashian was on TV saying she gets facials using blood.

"I ask myself that too... Maybe If I made a sex tape I could be famous too" I Look at my sister like she's crazy

"Yea but you actually have talent, you could get famous without sucking someones dick" I say and she cracks up laughing and I add a small chuckle in there too.

"This is good Mak, Since when could you cook?"
"Excuse me I've always been able to cook. But I took a Culinary class my last year of high school and It just kinda stuck." she answers and I feel bad as I probably should've known that.

Breaking News
Just in Prince Harry was seen out and about with Ex-Girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
They were seen out at a restaurant getting lunch with some of the Princes old college friends. Are these two rekindling their relationship? We were told by onlookers that the pair was seen laughing and looked very happy together.

I sit quietly staring at the TV, A thousand thoughts running through my head

"I always didn't like her, Maybe it's cause I wanted to be her.
I mean She's not that pretty, but I guess she must have an amazing personality if Prince fucking Harry wanted to date her. I mean he'd never date a fucking nut like us," Mak rambles on
"Right?" She asks

"Mhm right" I say

I Mean I'm an idiot right? Why the fuck would a guy like him might actually have an interest in me when there's people like Chelsy Davy in the world. Thin, Beautiful, Intelligent.
I mean I never should've believed that he'd actually find something about me to like.

"Please tell me you're staying tonight." I say to My sister

"I Ummm actually wanted to talk to you about that." I raise my eyebrows at her, not knowing what she was going to say

"I Was actually offered an Internship here In London, I wasn't sure on taking it as I didn't want to Leave Mom but They said if I Did, well they could think about Giving me a permanent position. And they could re-locate me back to Brighton. I talked to Mom and she thinks I should take it." she paused almost as she was nervous then proceeded

"The thing is I don't have money, I will get paid but barley anything and I can't afford a place on my own and all my friends already have roommates"
I purse my lips thinking I know where this is heading

"I would pay you, I promise" I give her a smile.
She was nervously tapping her leg and I could sense that she was about to explode.

"If you cook for me Like you did tonight, I guess you could take my spare bedroom" She freezes
"Really?!?" I nod and she jumps up and into my arms and squeals.

I walk into the Kitchen and grab all the alcohol I could find and bring it out

"Now lets get smashed, I don't work tomorrow"
