Eliza and I were supposed to meet on Break but I was a lot more swamped today than I thought I would be. So my shift is now just ending and I am on my way to this little restaurant near the hospital.
I walk in and see that Liza wasn't here yet so I go ahead and get us a table by the window.
She walks in a few Minutes later and spots me and does this little dance while walking over to the table. I shake my head at her and she smiles more knowing I was questioning why she's still my friend.
"Hi honeyyy" She says while hugging me and I obligingly hug her back.
"I feel like we haven't talked in forever" She says settling down into her chair.
"I know It's been awhile" I say as the waitress walks over and takes our drink order
"Well you've been so busy recently" She replies back to me as the waitress leaves
"I know, I've just had a lot going on... You know Mak moved in with me? And Maddie is in town so been spending time with the Family"
" I know and I forgive you, Just have missed my best friend." I smile sincerely smile at her knowing I probably haven't been the best best friend I could be recently.
"How's Lola doing?"
"She's good, Only 10 more days left of her treatment. 5 More days of Chemo within that. So gonna be a hard next few days but she's almost done. And then they'll do her checkup scan to make sure the Tumor is Still shrinking. I hope it is, she deserves a break" I say and Liza nods agreeing. She's been Lola's nurse for more than a Handful of times.
"I'm sure that the whole family will be relieved, They've all gone through a lot" I nod because she was right they had been through a lot. They've been through more than someone should ever have to go through. I know I went through the same thing with my father.
"So I've got tickets to go see the New movie with Emma Stone, The one you've been talking about seeing for forever. They're for tonight If you wanna come? I've been trying to Ask you if you wanted to go for the past week but every time I see you you've been busy. And I know it's all Important stuff so I didn't want to bother you." Eliza says and I sigh and frown at her
"I'm sorry-" I start to say and she cuts me off
"You're busy tonight... I get it... But it seems you've been busy the past few weeks." I felt a sudden emptiness in my heart, I felt guilty. I hadn't been the best 'Best friend' lately. But I needed to change that and that starts now.
"You know what, I'm actually free" I state and she shakes her head
"No, Don't cancel your plans for me" Now it was my turn to shake my head
"Liz Let me, please. I can see this person whenever I want, they won't mind I promise" I said choosing my words very carefully So i didn't accidentally say His name or that it was Him.
"I love you, You know that?" I smiled at her. Damn I was lucky That she didn't hold a grudge against me for not being there for her sometimes.
"Just give me a second to go call them!" I excuse myself from the table and walk outside and dial Harry's number. Surprisingly he answers, I was excepting it to go to voicemail
"Hello?" He said and my heartbeat quickened. "Hey Harry, It's Liv" he smiled into his phone I just didn't know it.
"Hey! What's up?!?" He questioned
"I- umm I'm gonna have to reschedule tonight. I'm sorry, I totally forgot that I had plans with my best friend"
"Oh," he said somewhat down "That's okay, I have an engagement tomorrow night but I can pick you up on my way back to the palace afterwards?!?"
"That sounds perfect! I'm sorry to cancel so quickly I just totally forgot!"
"You didn't cancel, you're rescheduling. There's a difference liv. It's alright I've got an event in an hour anyway."
"Thank you for understanding" I said as I was. I was worried he'd be upset because it was so last minute.
"Of course! Have fun tonight!" He spoke and we quickly said our goodbyes and I went back inside to Liza
"All worked out! Reschedule to tomorrow! So tonight I'm all yours"
"You're the best Liv," Eliza spoke and I shook my head
"I think it's you." She hummed an amused "mhm"
"So what time does the Movie Start?" I ask as the waiter brings us our food we had ordered before I went out to call Harry.
"7 and its 4:30 right now. So we can start heading over there around 6:30 get some popcorn or something." I nodded then added
"Can we stop at my place beforehand? I wanna get out of these clothes and take a quick shower" Liza nodded.
We chatted a little more while eating, Talking about My trip to Brighton over the weekend What Liz has been up to since we had met up like this.
We head back to my place and When we get there I go and jump into the shower. When I'm done i walk into the living room and Find my best friend and sister on the couch together.
"What movie are you guys gonna go see?" Mak asks and I answer
"The new one with Emma Stone," Mak nods
"Have an Extra charger liv?" Eliza questioned me
"Oh yea, on the counter over there" I continued talking to Mak until Liza questions me
"Whose jacket is this? It's a mens one" 'Fuck' I thought Harry had left it here and I was suppose to bring it back to him when we hung out tonight. I look at Mak panicking as to what to say
"Oh sorry, My friend let me borrow it the other night. I'm supposed to give it to him next time I see him" Mak said saving my ass. I mouth her a quick 'Thank you'
"Wow this is a designer coat! Is he cute? You should give me his number!"
"Liz! You're taken!" I say laughing knowing my best friend
"Yea, But you aren't!!!" She shimmed while saying that to me
"I'm sure whoever this male is he is taken" I say trying to get her to drop this conversation
"Well, Is he Mak?" Her eyes widen
"Yes he is!" She says. I mean she may not personally know him but she knows that he is seeing her sister.
We all continue talking until Liza and I leave to go to the movies.

It was my birthday last month then I had family in town for a week. Then my friends came into town to stay with me.
Then My cat got really really really sick and was dying and was at the vet for a week so I was super sad. And then I got really Sick! Sooo sorry about of of that. But here is an Update
