Chapter Four

I walk up to my bedroom and sit down on my bed.

"Beth?" I jump as Liam walks in my doorway.

"You scared me." I say motioning for him to come sit next to me.

"Sorry. I think we need to talk." I look at him strangely.

"Talk about what? Go right ahead." I lean against my headboard.

"When I went to get your iPod earlier..I found something in your bag."

I gulp. "What did you find?"

"It was a razor. With blood on it. Explain to me why you have that." He crosses his arms and gets comfortable.

"I..I don't know." I look down and bite my lip.

"I think you do know. If you won't tell me I'll tell you myself." So obviously he knew.

"Tell me why you think I have it, Liam." I sigh and hug my knees.

"The worst reason possible to have a bloody razor blade. You cut your wrists..don't you?" He forces me to look at him. I don't respond. "Let me see." He takes my hands and looks at my wrists.

"Babe, this can't be happening. You can't do this!" He looks at my wrists closely and sighs.

"Don't tell anyone." I look at the ground.

"I have to tell someone! You cut your wrists!" He lets my hands go.

"Shh! Liam! Keep it down." I put my finger to my lips.

"Am I the only one who knows?" He asks.

"No, Harry does too." I sigh and tuck my hair behind my ear.

"You have such a happy life though. Why would you do this?"

"My life isn't happy, Liam." I hold back my tears.

"What are you talking about? You're always so cheerful and bright. If someone was balling then they see you they would be much happier. I don't get it.."

"I'm bullied at my school, Liam. That's why my life isn't happy." I swallow hard.

He looks at me with wide eyes. "You're bullied? What?"

I nod and look away. "Bethanie, why didn't you ever tell me? How long did Harry know?"

"Because I couldn't tell you. Harry's known since last night."

"I think we all need to know about this."

"No, Liam! Don't tell anyone!"

"Beth this can't just keep going on!"

I start to cry. "Please! Don't tell!"

He sighs. "I won't tell anyone right now but sometime we need to tell the guys."

"Thank you."

"We need to get Katie and Luke here too when we tell everyone."

I nod. "Please go now, Liam. I just want to be alone right now."

"Alright. Call for me if you need anything." He gives me a hug and walks downstairs. Two down. Five to go.
