The Way That You Saved Me (Completed/Part 1) (In Editing)

Chapter Twelve

"Beth. Bethanie. Wake up." I feel Katie wiggle my arm.

"No.." I moan.

"Fine sleep in the car!" She giggles.

"Okay! I'm up!" I jump out of the car and walk inside. 

"Hello gorgeous." Harry smiles and holds my side.

"Hey, Harry. Why do I have a head ache?" I mumble.

"You were upset at what those girls called you so you drank like a whole thing of wine..maybe two." He laughs.

"What? I drank wine? I'm only seventeen, Harry! Why'd you let me do that?" I look at him.

"You said you were going to chop everyone of ours' balls off if we tried to stop you!" He says.

"Oh..and Katie didn't stop me? She doesn't have balls.." I start to fumble to the side. Harry grabs me  and holds me up. "Please tell me I didn't do anything stupid." 

"No, you didn't. You just cussed a lot and said how that girl was ugly and stuff like that." He bites his lip.

"Harry, lets go for a walk." I say turning with him down the sidewalk.

"Okay. Let's walk down to the park that we used to go to all the time." He smiles and wraps his arm around my waist. 

"You know Beth, I just wanted to say that you really do mean everything to me and I want you to stop cutting yourself. I'm terrified that one day it will be taken too far and you'll..." He chokes on his words and starts to cry.

"Harry, I promise I will never cut myself again. I have you now. And I would never kill myself." I hug him.

"You promise?" He rubs my back.

I nod.  "Harry, I'm so sorry I put you and everyine through this. I should have just told you right away.." I lay my head on his shoulder.

"Just as long as you never do it again. You need to stand up to Kennedy. You need to show her that she can't push you around anymore." He holds my waist.

"Okay. When I go back to school tomorrow, I will. God..these shoes are killing me." I bend down and take off my shoes. When I stand back up I see Harry smirking.

"Yeah, that dress really is short." He smiles. I playfully slap him on the chest. He was much taller than me now, so I had to stand on my tiptoes to look into his eyes. His eyes were so gorgeous. It felt like I could just stare at them forever. 

"Harry, I really love you." I wrap my arms around his shoulders.

"I love you too." He smiles down at me. Before I knew his lips were pressing against mine and we had our first, real, kiss.
