Chapter Five

Liam looks at me with that look.

"We need to do it.." He says keeping the stern look.

I shake my head. "Tomorrow. We will tomorrow."

"Beth, you can't avoid this anymore. We need to tell them now."

"No! I don't want to!" I fight with him as he tries to drag me down the stairs.

"You are acting like a child!" He grabs my arm and pulls me with him.

"I don't want to do it right now, Liam! Quit it!" I struggle to break free.

"Come on! Luke and Katie and everyone is all here! It's now or never!"

"I choose never!" I pull and try to break free but he keeps ahold of me.

"That's it!" He lifts me over his shoulder and carries me down the stairs.

"Liam! Put me down!" I pound on his back.

"What's going on? What the hell?" Niall stands at the bottom of the stairs.

"Ow! Niall help me!" Liam shouts as I try to kick and punch my way out of his arms. Niall grabs my feet and Liam holds under my arms.

"You guys! Just let me go!" I scream as they carry me into the living room. They set me down and Liam holds my arm tightly so I can't run away.The boys and Katie stare at us in bewilderment.

"What's going on?" Luke asks.

"I'm being forced to do this! I'm prisoner!" I shout and Liam covers my mouth with his hand.

"She isn't being forced to do anything. This needs to happen." Liam glances at Harry who knew what was going on.

Liam pulls his hand off my mouth. "If I let you go will you run away?"

I sigh. "No." He releases my arm and I sit on the couch.

"So, what's this about?" Louis asks.

"Tell them." Liam says.

"I don't know how to start.." I look at him.

"Start at the beginning. When it all started." He motions for me to tell them.

"Well, when I first came to the school I didn't have any friends and I was a sophmore. Then I met Katie and Luke and you guys were and are my only friends at that school. Then I met Kennedy and she hated me from the start. You guys don't see it but she bullies me..a lot." I sigh and take a moment to look at everyone's faces. All but Liam and Harry's were shocked.

"She's bullied me for two years now. I've..I've cut myself for one year." I show them my wrists.

"Bethanie. Why didn't you tell me?!" Katie traces over the lines.

"I don't know." Luke takes my hands next and looks at them horrified.

"Beth..this is awful." He looks at me and I look away. I just couldn't bear to see the painin my friend's eyes.

Louis, Niall, and Zayn stand up and hug me very tight.

"Stop doing this right now." Louis squeezes my hand. I nod.

Harry walks up to me. "I'm proud of you for telling everyone." He whispers in my ear hugging me. I nod as tears roll down my cheeks.

Liam sees me crying and hugs me. "You did the right thing."

"I feel like I didn't.." I sniffle and cry into his shoulder.

"You did. Now we just have to deal with Kennedy."
