The Way That You Saved Me (Completed/Part 1) (In Editing)

Chapter Eleven

When we got there I had expected to see everything that was outside. We all had gotten out of the car and immediately there was flashing lights and people were screaming questions at us.

"Harry! Over here! Is this still a friendship or something more?" A man yells.

"And you Louis! Who is this special girl?" A woman yells waving a microphone in Louis' face. Everyone of us just ignored them and we went to take our seats. 

"Sorry about that." Louis says to Katie. I was pretty much used to it since I hung out with the guys a lot.

"It's okay. I wasn't expecting to see all that. I guess I should have considering that you guys are One Direction.." She giggles. Harry puts his arm around me and I am fidgeting with my dress. Pull it up, pull it down, up, down, up, down.

"Would you relax? You look fine." Harry stares at me.

"I'm sorry I feel like I'm being to showy. I shouldn't have let you guys pick out the dresses." I frown and just lay my hands down.

"You aren't being too showy! I think you both look great." He kisses my forehead.

I glance at Katie who is looking at us and smiling. "Are you sure we don't look like we want to be all showy?" She asks.

"No! You look amazing you guys." Niall grins.

"Perfect is the correct pronunciation." Zayn says.

"You guys need to quit worrying. There are girls here who mistaked this place for a strip club." Liam laughs.

"Oh my God. You're right. Look at what she is wearing!" Katie points to a lady with a very low hanging dress.

"Told you." Liam smiles. "Feel better about your dresses now?"

We both nod. "Beth!" Danielle runs to us and hugs me. "I haven't seen you since forever!"

"Oh my gosh! I love your dress!" I admire the white and blue dress.

"I love yours too! And yours Katie!" She smiles and hugs her.

"Dani you look gorgeous!" Katie says.

"I agree." Liam laughs and hugs his girlfriend.

"Sorry, I'm late. I had a little problem with my dress." She sits down next to Liam.

"Problem?" I look at her and raise my eyebrows.

"Well yeah..a girl problem.." She smiles. I nod and smile back.

She leans in and whispers, "Bra pad malfunction." I giggle and nod. We all turn towards the stage and wait for the show to begin. We watch a lot of people get awards when the boys get called up. I smile at them as they walk up to the stage.

"This award really means a lot to us." Louis says into the microphone.

"Yeah it really does. I guess we should start with thank you's." Niall adds.

"I want to thank my girlfriend. Yes the rumors are real. Bethanie Elizabeth Carter is my girlfriend." He points to me. "Love you babe." I blush and Danielle makes me stand up. I blow a kiss to him and he pretends to catch it and put it in his pocket. Hundreds of girls scream. I sit back down.

"Yes can Katie Jones please stand up too? She's kind of my girlfriend." He smiles and Katie and I both stand up. I grab Danielle's hand and pull her up with us. We all smile and wave then sit back down. 

When we start to leave -with two awards might I add- we see a bunch of fans. 

"Louis! I love you!" One screams.

"Harry! Why are you dating her?! She is ugly! I hate her!" A girl shouts at us. I turn in her direction but Harry grabs my hand and pulls me to the car. I cross my arms and look at the ground.

"Babe-" Harry tries to speak.

"No. Why would she say that? Why does she hate me? What did I do to her?!" I hold back the tears that were dying to come out.

"You didn't do anything to her. Some fans are just like that..don't worry. I think you are the most beautiful girl in the world. No matter what nyone says." He kisses my cheek. 

I blush. "Thank you Harry. That really did make me feel better." I hug him and he kisses my head. I feel a hand on my shoulder and turn to see Katie.

"Beth, you are gorgeous. Don't let her get to you." She hugs me and smiles.

"Thanks Katie. You aren't so bad yourself." I giggle. We drive home and Harry puts his arm around me. I lay my head on his shoulder and fall asleep.
