Renjun's POV
"That new barista keeps spelling my damn name wrong even after I spelt it out for him. Is he deaf?" I scoffed, leaning back onto the chair in frustration after staring at my misspelt name on the cup.
"How does R-E-N-J-U-N turn into Rainjune? Is he fucking stupid?""Maybe it's a secret code."
The brown haired seated across me answered back, clearly disinterested at my bickering. Not that I could help it, though. It became a daily routine for a week already with that barista getting my name wrong after flashing me his pearly white toothy-smile and me accepting it after smiling back with fake content."Oh? For what?" I asked, expecting to finally get a proper answer.
"That he doesn't give a fuck."
"Glad I can count on you, Hyuck."
"No problem."
He whipped out his phone and diverted all of his attention into the game he was playing.Rolling my eyes, I reached towards my Iced Americano which was untouched since I bought it.
As I sulked and drank my coffee while looking around the coffee shop to entertain myself since my phone had graciously died before I even got here, my eyes landed back on that barista. He was serving some old woman and had that stupidly beautiful smile on his face the entire time."I thought you hated him, so why do you look like you're admiring your highschool crush?"
"I just want my name to be spelt correctly."
I glared at him and he raised his hands up in surrender before looking back down at his phone."He spelt my name correctly, though."
"That's it, I'm suing."
He looked up for a second, before looking back down.
"Go ahead.""And you're coming with me."
I grabbed my cup in one hand and his arm in the other to drag him towards the counter."If you want to embarrass yourself, go ahead. Just don't involve me in it too," he whined behind me.
There weren't any customers at the counter so I went straight up to the barista who had his back turned towards us, and slammed my cup on the counter.
The barista flinched at the noise before turning, and the surprised look on his face was once again replaced by his smile.
"Yes? How can I help you?""Are you dumb? Do you know how to spell? Have you even attended school to learn how to spell? Of course not. Mr. Barista here doesn't even know how to spell a six-letter word. No wonder you're working at a coffee shop," I snapped at him as I watched his smile slowly drop.
"Did I spell your name wrong?"
He picked up the cup to read his writing, before putting it back down.
"Ah, I did. I'm sorry."He grabbed his marker and cancelled my misspelt name to scribble something on it before handing it back to me.
"Eunwoo? That's not even my fucking name?!"
"Yeah, it's my name and it's six-letters too. You can call me that instead of 'Mr. Barista'. Also, I work here part-time, but I'm a full time University student."
He grinned while answering and leaned down to my height over the counter."Nice to meet you, R-e-n-j-u-n."
