"So. Paisley?" She looks at her with a soft smile, "How are you and Darren?" She finishes swallowing her food and clears her throat, "Uhm, we're good. Like i said earlier, he gets back Friday and since Lily is staying the weekend with me, we'll find something to go out and do. Or find something around the house." "Well, let me know if you need any money, and i can help pay for her." She shakes her head, "Oh no, it's fine. I can pay for her." They finish eating and Scarlette takes their plates and glasses to the sink, "Let me fix up Miss Paisley's bed and then we'll go take you a bath okay? Go ahead and get your clothes, lovebug." "Yes, Mommy." She runs upstairs and starts to look in her closet for a sleeper. Downstairs, Scarlette leads Paisley to the guest bedroom, "Stay here and I'll be right back with a new set of sheets for the bed and some shorts and stuff for you to change into." Before she leaves, "Uhm. Can i ask something?" She stops at the door and turns around, "Yea, anything." Paisley looks down like she regretted saying anything, "Uhm.. Does.. she know that you used to babysit me?" Scarlette looks frustrated for a second then her face turns soft. "Uhh, no. I never told her." Paisley looks hurt. "So, she doesn't know that i was in love with you? That you were my mommy?" She looks angry now, as does Scarlette. "You were told to never mention that once you signed the contract." "You can't expect me to not say anything. Especially when i still love you!" Scarlette's face pales, "Y-you still love me?.. Then why'd you agree to take this job? It has to hurt." Paisley looks hurt. "It does. It hurts a lot. I h-have to go." She brushes past Scarlette and heads for the front door, "Paiswy? Whys you weaving?" She stops and slowly turns around to see Lily standing at the bottom of the stairs, frowning. "Oh no, baby.. I just have to go to the store real quick. To pick you up some more juice. Yea, that's it." Lily slowly nods, "Okay.. Hurry back pwease? I want both you and mommy to put me to sweep." "Yes, my dear." And Paisley walks out the door, shutting it behind her.
