Part 24

Lily raises up quickly and clutches at her chest. She's breathing heavy and sweating. 'What is wrong with me?' She thinks to herself. She pulls the blanket off of her and goes to stand up, but looks down and realizes she's naked. She quickly covers herself back up with the blanket and looks around frantically. The events of last night hit her just as Absinthe walks in the room and Lily stands up quickly and pushes her back against the wall. 

Absinthe looks over at Lily and rolls her eyes, "Come on, put on your dress. Dinner is gonna be ready soon." Lily wraps the blanket around her tighter and goes to the other side of the bed to grab the dress. She looks over at Absinthe, "Can i go to the bathroom? Or do i have to change in here?" (the dress is the same one from part 22) 

Absinthe rolls her eyes and starts to walk away, "I'm going to be standing just outside the door. I will be back in here in exactly five minutes and you better have the dress and shoes on. Don't worry about your hair or makeup, we have somebody to do that for you." She shuts the door after talking.

Lily lets go of the blanket and slips on the dress over the top of her head and picks up the flats, sliding them on her feet. She walks over to the door and goes to knock on it just as it opens. Lily stammers, "I'm uhh.. r-ready." 

Absinthe nods and takes her hand, guiding her to the kitchen. Lily then decides to take in her outfit. She had on a black dress that went down to mid-thigh in the front and in the back, it just barely touches the ground. She has on black tights that are see threw and have a pattern on them. Her shoes are black as well. They are heeled boots, not wedges though Absinthe hates wedges. They have two leather straps around the ankle and the laces for the boots are a shiny black. The dress is an off the shoulder kind of thing and the sleeves are long, covering her hand a little bit. Her hair was just wavy, like she had curled it then brushed it out before it could hold.

(holy shit forgive me for spending a whole paragraph describing what Absinthe was wearing. you can continue with our regularly scheduled program)

Before Lily had realized, she was down in the kitchen. There were chef's at every station, while Scarlet was sitting in the dining room, sipping wine and typing away at her mac book pro. Lily stops and stares at her. Absinthe tugs on her hand a little bit and gives her a dirty look. Lily mumbles an apology and feels herself getting pulled again. Soon enough, she feels Absinthe pushing her down in a seat and handcuff her ankles to the legs of the chair. Lily looks up and sees her sitting across from her and Scarlette sitting beside her. 

"So," Scarlette shuts down her laptop and takes her glasses off, turning to face Lily, "I see Absinthe didn't have them do you hair or makeup." Absinthe muttered a soft "fuck"and Scarlette ignored her, still facing Lily. "You still look beautiful either way. I was just confirming that Absinthe doesn't know how to follow orders. Do you Absinthe?" Scarlette turns to look at her and smiles sweetly. "No, ma'am." She frowns and looks down at the ground.

Laela's POV

"Get up. You'll wanna hear this." Someone pokes their head into the tent she sleeps in. Laela sighs and gets up, wrapping a soft mint green robe around her and walks to the tent beside her tent. Someone hands her a traveling coffee mug, just filled up with coffee, and she sits in one of the rolly chairs. The man beside her puts headphones over her head, rewinds the audio and hits play. It comes out kind of scratchy.

"So," pause, "I see Absinthe didn't have them do you hair or makeup." Absinthe muttered a soft "fuck"and Scarlette ignored her "You still look beautiful either way. I was just confirming that Absinthe doesn't know how to follow orders. Do you Absinthe?"  another pause "No, ma'am."  

And the audio cuts off, "We have to find her." Laela demands after standing up, she has tears threatening to spill from her eyes, "We.. we have to find her."
