It was the next morning and Laela had woken up, bright and early, around 6 AM. She grabbed a pair of black leggings and a grey Nike hoodie. She puts a pair of thick black socks on and heads to the kitchen to start breakfast.
Lily wakes up to the smell of pancakes and sausage. Raising up, she realizes she's naked and gasps, remembering last night. She blushes and wraps a sheet around herself going into the kitchen. She sees Laela standing there, pouring the coffee grounds into the pot then turn around and jump, squeezing her eyes shut.
She laughs, "You scared me!" Opening her eyes, "Why are you naked? Oh, wait. You don't have clothes." She giggles, "I guess i could tell you where they are, but then you wouldn't be naked anymore." She winks and turns back to cooking the sausage.
"Come ooon, show me the clooothes!" Lily whines.
"Sorry, can't hear youuu! The sound of sausage sizzling is too loooud!" Laela stifles her laugh by covering her mouth with her hand. Lily sits at the kitchen table and pouts, making sure to keep herself covered, "You're actually rude. You big meany head. Big doody face. Big butt head."
Laela interrupts her by laughing loudly and smiles over at her, "The bags are in the first bedroom to the right. Lily stands up excitedly and rushes over to the room, dropping the sheet halfway there. She slams the door shut and cringes, "Sorry!"
She can hear Laela singing to herself and smiles, recognizing the song as "Sweater Weather" by The Neighbourhood. She starts humming along and grabs a pair of black jeans and a grey sweater with a V neckline cut out (picture below).

She walks out of the bathroom after putting the clothes on and gets the black heeled boots out of the shoe bag, setting them by the door. Lily goes over to the kitchen table and sits down, grabbing her phone off the charger. Clicking on text messages, she sees a few from her mom
Momma: Laela told me where you were, we're coming to visit
Momma: Did you get my texts?
Momma: Hello?
Momma: Hello?
This is Laela, she's sleeping right now. I'll let her know you texted.
She sees her reply and is satisfied, so she goes over to her game, 'Love Nikki' and starts playing it waiting for the food to be ready.
"Ahh, fuck! Stupid game! I totally had that one. I deserved an S." Lily locks her phone and tosses it to the side, pouting.
"What's all the ruckus about?" Laela come to the table carrying two plates, one in her hand and the other on the bend of her arm. She was also carrying a cup of OJ and brought them over to the table. Lily looked shocked, her mouth open just the tiniest bit.
"I'll have your coffee done in just a few seconds, love. I forgot i was making it for you and messed it up."
Lily goes to get up, "I can get it, it's fine. You've already done so much for me." Laela points to her seat, "Oh nonsense! Sit down. I made breakfast, I'll get your coffee." She goes back to the counter and pours a cup of coffee in an owl mug and brings it over to Lily after putting what she likes in it.
Lily takes a bite of the chocolate chip pancakes and moans, "Dees are so gud!" Laela giggles and covers her mouth, "Are they?" Lily blushes and nods, realizing she talked with her mouth full.
"So, we're gonna eat and then we'll head into town and go shopping? You need more clothes, and my dad gave me some money for my birthday that i haven't spent yet." Laela take another bite of her pancakes then takes a drink of her orange juice.
"Uhmm, you don't have to spend your money on me. Really.." Lily blushes again, she seems to be doing that a lot around this girl. "Oh, stop it. Let me help you out until you find a job. And even if you wanted to, you could apply to some places since we'll already be out. This is our home now. I sold the apartment last night."
Lily starts freaking out, "What?! You did what!"
