Jimin felt everything fade.

Crisp, golden leaves fell off of old maple trees, gently swaying in the wind before softly hitting the ground. Their color started to disappear, until the leaves themselves left his vision entirely.

The tall grass and wildflowers that filled the meadow he stood in shrunk into the ground, wilting as they went under.

The warmth the distant sun provided got farther and father and father away from him-- and Jimin was left in utter darkness.

Everything in the make-belief world his mind had conjured had soon crumbled to nothingness.

Jimin began to lose his sense of touch, his sense of smell, his sense of hearing. But before those too disappeared into the endless abyss he was floating in, he heard one faint voice. It sounded as if it was miles away, gradually getting farther as the seconds painfully ticked by.

He held on to that voice, it being the only thing left.

"Pl-please... don't go!"

He grasped on to bits and pieces of the voice-- whatever he could possibly manage to catch.

"Please, Jimin..." The voice sounded frantic. It was choked up with tears. It sounded as it was about to lose whatever hope was left.

I don't want to go. Stay with me, please. Keep me company.

Jimin tried to keep his eyes open as he responded to the voice in his head, hoping it would reach him someway, somehow.

His eyes shut slowly and peacefully. It was inevitable.

He no longer felt the cool breeze on his cheek.

He no longer saw the beautiful flowers in the meadow he stood in.

He no longer heard the voice that pleaded for him to just stay.

There was nothing there with him anymore.

He had faded.

This is definitely different from anything I've written before, lol. I kinda like it though, and although it's really short, it's probably my favorite piece so far. Might do more like this in the future! :D
