YOOOOOOO what's up it's been years lmao
to give an update on life I'm in college now (crazy how I started this in like 8th grade? tf) and I have a test tomorrow so instead of studying I'm procrastinating by updating this I guess haha
I also make art so follow my art stuff if you like art i guess (@ stephanie.artdesign on instagram) I'm much more active on there so yeeahh thanks!!
I'm obviously not as active on here as lil ole middle school me was, so who knows when I'll update again! And honestly, shoutout to everyone who has sent me a kind message/comment/etc on here (or even on my social media- you guys are so sweet!)- you guys are literally the best and are the reason I'm updating now. You guys rock! And a special shoutout to anyone's who has bothered to keep up with me all these years- you haven't given up on me and I appreciate that even though you probably should have many years ago LOL
anyways, TL;DR - follow my art on social media and now we're on to the next chapter!
Also ps- I did not re-read what I had previously written (because I hate my old writing lol) except for Chapter 15 so if there are inconsistencies it's been like five years and I don't remember what I wrote so sorry!!
{Chapter Sixteen}
Holy shit.
I'm a fucking idiot.
"It's you."
Those words rang in my ears for what seemed to be an eternity.
"It's you."
How on earth could this have happened? A ghost- my imaginary childhood friend- was in love with me? And now he's... alive? I wish I could say my mind was whirling a mile a minute, but I was in such a shock I didn't feel anything. My mind was completely blank. I think I forgot who I was for a minute. Me? Who even is "me"?
Why me?
I was utterly aghast. I'm in way over my head.
"Lily?" Nick asked in a concerned tone. "Are you alright?"
His voice seemed so far away...
Nick cursed under his breath, "Way to just lay it on her."
"What? She asked," Alec responded indignantly.
"Lily?" Nick waved his hands in front of my face and called my name out repeatedly, but I couldn't bring myself to answer. I felt frozen; I couldn't speak, much less move.
"She's pale as a ghost," Nick said, "This is not good." Alec chuckled at the comparison, echoing it softly, and stepped closer to me.
Nick grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me violently, "Lily! I swear, you gotta snap out of it!" I could feel my eyes roll in their sockets; I could feel my knees were about to give out from under me...
Suddenly, my head jerked right as I was met with a painful slap to the cheek.
"SHIT!" I yelped, jumping a little and cradling my now-burning cheek, "Was that really necessary?"
"You were dissociating," Nick replied, looking somewhat relieved, "You were totally out of it."
"Well, yeah, you drop a bomb like that on me, what do you expect?" I responded defensively. I shot Alec a look, "Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why me?"
He shrugged, "I don't know."
What?
"You don't know? That's the reason you give me? That's really pathetic, I'm sorry to say," I retorted, "What on earth is wrong with you?"
