Coles POV

"Typical fucking Myka, then she stormed of like a mini tornado to who knows where"

The human girl causing trouble among the men in my pack once again.

"Yeah yeah. Look, I'll call you back later."

I was currently late for gym class, not that I care. I have too many other things I have to worry about like -

My thoughts die short as vanilla wafts through my senses. I give the air a sniff. Mmm

My eyes follow the direction in which the delicious smell is coming from.

Of course it's coming from the infamous scumblood. - Crap. Shes coming This way. Ughh, I throw my hoodie over my head to avoid eye contact and glued my eyes to the ground- right when her arm brushed past mine and sparks erupted from her touch.. i didn't even get a chance to process before an ear piercing scream sounded from beside me.

Her body hit the floor with a loud thump as another scream tore from her throat. I was down next to her in a flash. Examining her body, she was curled into a ball and her face was twisted in pain. I gripped her shoulders but pulled my hands back again as the unfamiliar sparks erupted on my fingertips... No.. She can't be.. I was broken from my daze when she screamed yet again, and my wolf surfaced within a matter of seconds.

I watched as her body writhed from pain. I could feel my wolf scratching at the surface, begging to be released wanting nothing but to protect this girl from the pain.

"He - help me- eeee" her voiced sounded broken amongst the chaos, the end of her sentence dragged out into another scream.

I quickly picked her up, ignoring the tingles all over my body, and carried her to an empty, soundproof class room. I quickly mind-linked our pack doctor.

"Mrs Paisley??"

Not long after came her reply.

"Yes alpha? What is it? Are you alright?"

"Yes, yes I'm fine. I need your help, please come to the school immediately"

"Yes alpha. I'm on my way."

I held the fragile human in my arms as her body convulsed. Hang in there peanut.. Help is on the way.

'Cole?! What the hell is going on down there? I can here a girl screaming like she's dying or something'

'Pete, it's pean- uhh what's her name? The human girl.. Something's wrong with her'

'You mean Izzy? Shit. I'm on my way.'

Izzy? Hmm Cute.. but that's got to be short for something...

Another scream left her lips as I watched her body wrack with unknown pain. I wish there was something I could do, I don't know how much more my wolf .. Or even I, could take of this.

"Shhh peanut, calm down.." I stroked her hair gently, as her screams died down to a whimper.  My fingers caress her skin, and I notice she's heating up. And fast. If I wasn't mistaken, I could swear she was turn-

"Where is she? Is she alright?"

Jake burst through the doors, closely followed by Pete. Jakes gaze landed on Izzy and them back up to me.

"What the fuck did you do too her Cole?"

Jake made a start towards me, his finger pointed in my direction. I could feel my eyes swirling with anger, as an angry growl left my lips.
