We arrived at Lucy's beach house and I was astonished by the beautiful building infront of me. For a moment I forgot Lucy was rich and was just a girl with problems. But who doesn't have problems nowadays?

We unpacked everything and I'm going to be sharing a room with my sister while May and Chery share and Lucy has her own room.

I sighed in relief as I watched my younger sister sit on her bed and lay down. I decided to lay down next to her as both of us starred at the ceiling in comforting silence.

"Why'd you invite me?" She asked out of nowhere.

"I didn't want to leave you with mom." I whispered. She put her head on my shoulder and sighed.

"So are we gonna do something here or are we going to just stare at this beautiful house for the weekend."

"I like both of those options but I believe we are supposed to meet with everyone else down stairs."

"Ok..." she mumbled under her breath before sighing and getting up.

I got up after her and we both went down stairs.

"Finally we were going to go up there and get you guys out of your room." May said and rolled her eyes while Chery giggled I squinted my eyes at the two. They've been very strange these couple of days...

"Yeah we honestly wanted to take a nap." I yawned out.

"So let's get started I wanted to take you guys out to this little diner next to the beach I know every single one of you guys will love," she paused gliding her finger in the air pointing at every single one of us, " it's a burger place and who doesn't like burgers?"

We all laughed and made our way to this unknown burger place as Lucy took the lead. May has actually been talking to my sister since I guess they used to know each other a little too.. I sighed as I realized so far in life has got better but I dont know if I'd be able to really let go of my past.

"You ok there?" Chery said nudging my shoulder and showing me her smile I've grown to adore.

I gave her a smile and told her what I've been feeling.

"Well I know you can't forget your past silly. You just got to accept it. You know? Own up to your past because your past is you. Its the one thing that shapes you as a person and the people around you." She expressed in such a playful manner I couldn't help but smile.

"For an 18 year old Chery you're so wise." I admitted making her cheecks turn a rose pink. I giggled at her and slightly nudged her shoulder as we continued walking to this unknown burger place...
