( At Zendaya's House)

Trevor: *frowns and throws down pencil and paper* Daya, I just can't get this right.

She knows when I call her Daya, I am dead serious.

Zendaya: What are you talking about best friend.

She plops her body next to mine as she pops a green skittle into her mouth.

Trevor: I just can't seem to write out this new song!

Zendaya: Well what do you want to write about?

Trevor: Something I've never written about before... something people wouldn't expect me to talk about as an 18 year old breaking out of his "shell." *jumps up and lands his feet first on the couch. Then, points at Zendaya * People have been blinded by innocence for too long now. I wanna talk about girls and what I like. what she's like, and what we could be like together and the world and and - *gets cut off by Zendaya*

Zendaya: Well i think you just figured out your next song bud!

Trevor:... *chuckles* Daya how do you do it.

Zendaya: Do what big head? Eat all of these skittlles? I know. It should be an Olympic Record in Ripley's Believe It OR Not hahaha.

Trevor: No Daya.. you always seem to get me to figure myself out without saying a word. Every time!

Zendaya: I dont know. It just happens. You're my best friend and I know you better than anybody and what you're capable of. You got it. YOU just need help pullng it out.

Trevor: Yeah.. I guess so, huh?

Zendaya: Yesss, now write!

Trevor: I am I am

*begins to writes lyrics down*

Trevor: Daya I think I'm getting somwhere. It's pretty good so far. *hands her the sheet*

Zendaya: *reads the lyrics* Ahhh I like I like, but let me write what could go next. PLLLEEAAASSSEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Trevor: Fine Fine Fine! Write away.

Zendaya began to write what she had to say as the second verse. As I got lost in her writing. I began to look the way she was glowing today. She looked beautiful always, but this beautiful about her was different, it made me feel different and I had no clue of what it was. No clue at all. I was getting that feeling again when I'm around her... I brushed it off.

Zendaya: Here you go. *hands him the sheet back* Tell me what you think.

I began to read the lyrics. I admit that they were pretty good and I liked them a lot. I looked at her and she was very... my best friend. At that moment I felt like the luckiest guy in the world to have her support me the way she does. She is everything and beyond I had ever asked for in a best friend.

Trevor: Daya... you're simply amazing.

Zendaya: Well you know I try Trev * flips hair*

Trevor: No. I'm so serious right now. *moves closer to her* You're absolutely amazing

Without thinking about it. I placed my hand over hers and kissed a spot directly on the corner of her lips, but the way it happened and the way it felt... the look on her face showed that she was surprised. A LOT.

Trevor: Ummm I - *interrupted by his phone ringing from his girlfriend*... dang. I better see what she wants.

Zendaya: Yeah you better do that and I better go anyways. I got things to do.

Trevor: Nooo we need to -

Zendaya: * grabbing her things quickly* I have to go Trevor... bye.

And with that, she left. I looked down at my phone that was still ringing and answered it.

Trevor: Hey babe, what's up...

K'Lani: What's up with you letting me ring 8 times, what are you doing?

Trevor: Bae dont start that nonsense. Not now.

K'Lani: what's wrong with you all of a sudden?

Trevor: No what's wrong with you trippin on me all of a sudden, coming at me like you dont know me, you know better than that.

Then, she started to pop off at the mouth, which went directly in one ear and out the other. Eventually, it started to sound like she was whining so I hung up. I sat there for a while & began thinking... I had to find Daya and talk to her about what just happened. I needed to talk to her. Badly.

ZENDAYA POV:

I was completely confused of what just happened and I needed to avoid it. My phone began to ring and I saw Trevor's face pop up.. I couldn't face him right now. Things are too weird right now. I gotta maintain my focus and even though he's a beautiful distraction, I cant do it for my reasons and for his sake too. I turned my signal light on and headed in the direction of the dance studio. I had to get my mind off of this.
