An army led by my father King Pine, unseen battle waged against elves. While the nine worlds stood in a line, Malekith released the Etherium. Asgard took the gun from his hands. Without it, the dark elves were doomed. The battle would be lost... Malekith sacrificed their own people. desperate attempt to defeat the armies of Asgard.         Steve stood next to me at the airport, dropping me off. "I wish you didn't have to go." Steve said into my hair as he hugged me goodbye.         

        I sighed. "I wish I didn't either, but Jane asked me to come to London to help her with something. She also said that she needs some sanity from Darcy." I said, Steve laughed at the last part. "Besides, it'll be good for us. We've been trying so hard with no results. I know that we're both frustrated." I said.

        Steve sighed. "I just don't understand why nothing's happening. But you're right, I haven't been working as much either. And Fury is getting a little suspicious." We laughed at that. We haven't told anybody that Steve and I are trying to have a baby. 

        I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would support us. But I also know that a lot of people won't. Partly because Steve and I work for SHIELD. But mostly because we don't know what would happen if Steve had children.         

        For me with my powers it's not really a big deal, I'm pretty sure my mother had the same abilities. I've always wondered how advanced they were though. If she had the same abilities, why did she die? But that's for another day. 

        For Steve, I don't know what the serum would do to the child. I personally don't think it'll do anything, and I should know. I helped created it! But at the moment that's irrelevant, because I just can't seem to become pregnant. We've been trying, but we've had no luck. The only thing we have to show for it other than the obvious is a bunch of false positives. 

        But alas, I'll have to think about that more later. Because I have a plane to catch. Steve and I gave each other a kiss goodbye and I boarded. It was an uneventful flight. When I landed I was met by Darcy, she was holding up a sign that said 'Ms. Barnes'. 

        We decided that it would be best if I went by my maiden name for the time being. I walked over and gave her a hug. Over the last few months I had met with Jane, Darcy and Selvig a number of times. So we have become fairly close friends. "Hey Darcy, how are you?" I asked.

        She smiled. "Doing well, how about yourself." 

      "Good, luckily the plane ride was uneventful." I said.

       She smirked, oh no... "Well your life is going to get eventful again. Come on, I need to pick up Jane. Something came up on the equipment and she'll want to check it out." Darcy said grabbing my stuff and heading out the door. She didn't even wait for me to follow...
