Luke trudged in to school, snow covering his flowercrown and his blonde hair.

Ashton smiled at him and brushed some of the snowflakes away.

Winter break had ended and Luke was not happy about going back to school, as he had told Ashton specifically that morning.

"I just want to stay with you and cuddle for like, ever!"

Either way, Ashton loaded Luke in to his car and drove him to school.

Luke looked around the busy hallway in detest.

He hated school.

He really hated everyone at school, except for Ashton and Calum and Michael and Hannah.

Three out of four friends mentioned before were met up at Luke's locker, discussing a cover to perform as their band.

"I dunno," Luke shrugged, opening his locker and taking out his books.

"Hey Luke," Hannah grinned, "do you know what cover we should do as a band?"

"I just said. I don't know."

"Luke, what cover should we do?"

"Hannah."

"I'm really looking for your input, Luke," she giggled, leaning in to Michael as he put an arm around her neck.

"Michael, make your girlfriend stop picking on me!" Luke whined.

"I can't do anything, bro."

"You're her boyfriend!"

Luke rolled his eyes and turned around when he felt two large hands on his shoulders.

"Ashy!" He grinned, bending his knees to kiss him.

"Ew."

"Hannah, be quiet, you're over there making squishies with Michael," Luke raised an eyebrow, melting in to Ashton's strong arms.

"Squishies?"

"It was the first thing that came to mind," Luke shrugged.

"We should get to class," Calum suggested, and the four nodded, Ashton taking Luke's hand and leading him to their biology classroom.

"So, I was thinking," Ashton turned to Luke once they were settled in to their usual chairs.

"Oh no," Luke laughed, looking at Ashton with a grin.

"Har har. Anyway, I was thinking, and I want to take you out on a date tonight. Like, a real date. We could get pizza, and oreos, or maybe soup and chicken."

"I'd love to, Ash," Luke smiled.

Ashton grinned at Luke and kissed his forehead quickly as their teacher walked in to the room.

During lunch, Ashton sat with Luke and his friends, getting to know Michael and Hannah and listening to Luke sing.

Calum was still on the edge, eating his lunch in complete silence and not even glancing at Ashton.

Luke supposed that Calum didn't quite trust him yet.

However, Luke was almost convinced that Ashton had changed for him, and that idea made his heart flutter every time.

"Luke," Ashton was tugging on Luke's shirt, now, "look."

It was snowing outside, again, and instead of it being dark and gross like it was in the morning, it was sunny and the snow was gleaming bright.

"Pretty!" Luke exclaimed, clapping his hands together excitedly, like a child.
