SHE'S GOING TO DIE, STILES. JUST LIKE YOU.
His whiskey eyes snapped open as he took a desperate gasp, scrambling to get up. His vision blurred just like his mind as he tried to figure out where he was, his heart pounding against his rib cage.
Scott immediately rushed over to his best friend, after hearing the sharp uneven inhales from where he had been in the dining room. Stiles practically fell into Scott's arms, the werewolf holding onto his shoulders to keep him steady and upright. "Are you okay?" Scott quickly asked once Stiles recognized him.
"What happened?" Stiles adverted the question, his eyes darting around the room. "How long was I out?"
"Just a couple hours," Scott assured him and then motioned to the couch. "You should sit down."
Stiles shook his head barely but demanded, "Where's my dad?"
"He's at Eichen House, questioning everyone and looking for Merideth. I promised I wouldn't let you out of my sight."
Stiles' mind was jumbled, too many thoughts flying through his head. "O-Okay, but what about- what about the others?" he asked next, trying to grip his fingers together to keep them from trembling.
"Allison, Isaac, the twins," Scott listed off, "They're all looking for Lydia."
"But what about Sierra?"
"We find Lydia, we find her too," Scott stated.
Stiles was not satisfied with that answer. "I sort of feel like we're waiting for a ransom call."
"Hey, we'll find her," Scott reiterated, referring to Sierra. "I promised you we would, and I know Lydia is going to be okay as well. Sierra would never hurt anyone on purpose."
"But you don't know what it's like," Stiles argued quietly. "It feels like you're trapped, watching someone else control your movements and voice while overpowering every thought you have to try and get out. They take control, and you don't stand a chance." He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes for a moment before he spoke. "I hate waiting for the end of a hopeless situation, Scott-"
"It is not a hopeless situation," Scott cut him off sharply, hating to see him so pessimistic. "We got the Nogitsune out of you and when we find Sierra we're going to save her too. Mizuki might think that we're just dumb teenagers but one thing she underestimates is how we don't go down without a fight. You can't let the negative thoughts keep you from realizing that there is a chance to save you both, and we're going to take it. No one else is going to die. Not you, Not Sierra, not Lydia- not anybody, alright?"
Stiles let out a shaky breath, nodding his head multiple times while Scott uncurled his fists he had scrunched up at his sides. He hadn't meant to get worked up, but without Sierra by his side to help him stay positive, he could barely handle the amount of darkness surrounding their pack. He needed to save her, as well as Lydia. Not just for Stiles' sake, but for his own as well. Without her, Scott didn't know how much he could accomplish on his own.
He blinked, coming out of his thoughts when he noticed Stiles wincing heavily as he shrugged on his black jacket. "Are you okay?" His voice was softer now, laced with concern.
